My team development tactics are very straight forward:
1. Block - Guard - Mighty Blow on all Black Orcs (Stand Firm, Frenzy on doubles).
2. Guard - Tackle - Mighty Blow on all Blitzers (Stand Firm, Dodge on doubles).
3. Block - Tackle on all Linemen (Guard on doubles).
4. Accurate - Block - Safe Throw on all Throwers (Strong arm on doubles).
5. Catch - Sidestep - Sure Feet on all goblins (Block on doubles).
6. Always take stats increases on all players unless it is blatantly stupid, like +AG on a troll.
