When a small archeological dig at the far southern tip of the Empire discovered an ancient round hall, no-one understand the importance of the sight. They soon uncovered what were claimed to be the remains of an ancient Bloodbowl pitch. The man who made this claim, coincidently, was a powerful necromancer and he raised a pile of corpses found nearby as players for a new team. Taking the names of old Nuffle High Priests for his players and an ancient tribe title found on the round building, the Kansas City Wreaths were born. Unfortunately, their coaches skill did not match his ambition. The side also did not take well to open formats and decided that, owing to the complex magical rituals needed for weeks before and after the game, an organised schedule was the only way the team could possibly work.
