Game 1. I sure will try (Goblins) 1-2 loss
First game with my new team went well although Ares (lineman) will miss the next game due to a gouged eye. The goblins scored the winning td on the games final turn due in no small part to my rookie mistakes. Hera (catcher) caused one of the teams 3 casulaties and earned herself the most valuble player award and the skill dodge. The tough playing Elfs scored 2 badly hurt, 1 seriously injured and 1 death. Must also look to further develop Athena (lineman) as she gained 3 spp due to scoring the touchdown. Overall a close game which I should have won against a low strenght, stunty team.
Game 2. Lcaclow (Orc) 0-4 loss
Struggled to minimize injuries and tackles this game and because of this played alot of the second half with less than 6 players. Felt like I was competitive in the first half but was just concentrating on damage limitation for the second. Athena (lineman) fractured her leg this game which will be a niggling injury for the rest of her career. My only chance of a score was intercepted in the first half and after using my apothecary early on I let the orcs dictate the pace and play style from then on. Brought a new player Hades Lithoren (catcher) to increase the recievers I can flush into the opposing teams half.
Game 3. (Wood Elves) 1-4 loss
After a long off season (2years ish away) my first game back was okay but could have been better. After an awful first half I started too slow down his scoring by minimizing blocks as much as poss. My only score came from a Zeus pass too catcher Hera, who is close to a second skill roll. Zeus gained safe hands this game and Hestia the lineman gained guard. The major downside was Hades the new catcher suffered a niggling injury and will miss the next game.
Game 4 (Chaos) 2-0 win
After a short career and the teams first win The High Olympians have been retired due to a game played against Chaos who due to there manipulating ways transported the team to another dimension where there match continues to this day (played against my dad in R instead of L and had both teams removed by admin)
