I Said the Bar is Closed!! Well my 3rd Orc team off to a good start - 2 wins from 2 and both games have resulted in the opponents retiring their teams! Lets see how things go from here - a different approach this time with 2 double skill rolls and i've opted for Dodge instead of the normal Stand Firm/Side Step - time will tell I guess But so far no Cas received and no TD against - things going swell although I haven't enough loot for an Apo yet :S Ah well 3rd game inflicted my 1st defeat against some woodies - frustrating game but they happen - still didn't raise the loot for an apo and had a lino killed - hopefully that's there share of bad luck for a while and we can continue rolling on! Got my revenge on the woodies in the 4th game a 2-1 win - finally got my Apo! My 5th game was a particularly rewarding one for me - the powers that be decided that I was in for a right old Nuffling! However, despite a ridiculous fortune inbalance I managed to draw the game - he only just managed that with a long bomb pass in the last turn of the game to tie at 2-2 - was a great match! |
