[B] Chaos Dwarf
| The Daemon's Stump is located south-east of the Plain of Zharr on edge of the Mountains of Mourn. The River Ruin flows just east of its location. The Ogre Kingdoms refers to the Daemon's Stump as a Chaos Dwarf stronghold that lies just beyond the howling wastes. In the Daemons of Chaos Army Book it is noted that the Ogre Tyrant Argut Skullcrusher and the Bloodthirster Baaltor had a great battle in the Darklands in the year -2130, lasting 40 days and nights. The Bloodthirster was entombed in a great pillar of rock by the mortally wounded ogre. That pillar was from then on known as the Daemon's Stump. It is speculated that the Chaos Dwarf stronghold was built atop the Daemon's Stump sometime later. Since the introduction of the Hellcannon during the Storm of Chaos campaign, there has been much discussion as to the interaction between the Chaos Dwarfs and Chaos Daemons. Whether Daemons are to be an important part of the new flavour of the Chaos Dwarfs remains to be seen, but it is an area of great debate amongst Chaos Dwarf players. |
