1-2 loss vs. virgin Amazon team

Very 1st game on Blackbox - what an effin' disaster. Almost a tie, but... and this new client wasn't my friend. Urgh. Didn't know you had to declare a pass before moving, so lost a (very slim, admittedly) chance to score at end of 1st half, and then did the same w/ a hand-off for another "no thanks" at a scoring opportunity, and another pass late in the game.

To add insult to injury, only 10k gate.

But I'll take credit for my share dumb mistakes too - got greedy, caged until Turn 8, then missed the pass and it scattered WAAAYYY over there! Hrmmm... new rules, grumble grumble... but the learning curve is steep - better next time!

0-3 loss vs. veteran Chaos Pact

According to the "Team Value", these teams were an equal match - but I'm just not completely convinced.

Server crashed about 10 times, and I think that didn't help my game. Just never found my balance, and meanwhile Nighthawk guarded and pounded me into the dirt. Guards from hell. Respect! Lost all 3 blitzers (4th missed this game), and it was just downhill from there. Runner out w/ niggle. <insert generic but heartfelt moaning about dice here, only perhaps actually valid>. Only 1 skill in 2 games.

To add the same insult to a worse injury, only 30k gate, so still not enough for an Apo. Bonus.

Oh, and completely borfed on 90k in inducements - didn't understand the rules, passed completely. Little detail that might(?) have made a diff. Live and learn.
