It was on 19th June 1966 that SHIVSENA, an organisation striving for giving justice to the youth, was born. In a passage of little more than three decades, it has built itself into a formidable force of millions of young men and women, the Shivsainiks, who gathered under the saffron flag. Shivsena never intended to be a political party. In the initial period, though Shivsena participated in the election process and politics, it never worked in quest of power. Shivsena wanted to work for the downtrodden who had no savior and who have been looking for somebody who shall raise their voice. Utmost love towards Motherland and constructive social work have been Shivsena's goals. Therefore, Shivsena taught the youth to be self reliant, strong and dedicated to the cause. Instead of relying upon the government to do something, it preached the message "Your Hands are hands of God. Work and you shall succeed." Shivsena always fought against evil traditions, illiteracy and casteism. Every organisation undergoes changes in course of time. In a span of about 31 years, Shivsena, too, developed into a national force. Its followers, the SHIVSAINIKS, are from all castes, religions, and come from every state in Hindustan. What attracted the people is Shivsena's 'straight to the point ideology', capacity to identify issues and ability to find immediate and effective solutions to the problems. It is time that everyone, irrespective of his political affiliation, religion, caste or creed, should come under Shivsena's saffron flag in Hindustan for building a strong Hindustan. If this happens, it will be a new and successful experience which shall draw the attention of the world. Passage of years made it clear that it is necessary for Shivsena to emerge as a Political Party to serve the people. Now Shivsena has already been recognised as a Political Party. Shivsena's 'HINDUTVA' is not related to RELIGION. It is related to NATIONALITY. It is Shivsena's belief that whatever may be our religion, whatever may be our form of worship, our culture is Hindu. We are a national force. Hence we say with pride that we are Hindus. ========================================================= [Note from Coach: Doesn't this sound somewhat like something Hitler would say? Well, the Shiv Sena party is almost Nazi in belief. They are racist on the grounds of religion, and were a major proponent in the religious riots of 1994 in India [which I was there for], and the bombing of several Muslim owned locations in Bombay [where I lived]. They believe that the Muslims are the cause for everything that is wrong in India, and violently combat them [though it is usually hushed over].] ========================================================== This team has turned into a nightmare. No longer do I roll anywhere near average, but it can't do crap. It lost MANY players in the last 3 games, and I personally cannot take it anymore. However, it is in a tourney, and is thus not being retired. I don't abandon tourneys. So, I retired everyone that was missing a game, had any permanent injuries, and got rid of the biggest sob-piece of shit-crappy-bastard of an ogre. Got rid of 2 rerolls as well. Now lets see what half this team can do, coz I don't give a damn about it anymore. Won 10 frikking games, and still have only 9FF. So be it. 3 handicaps against Chaos Dwarves: Greased shoes [woo], Bribe the Ref [with 8 players] and Sponsorship deal [+10K]. Winnings? 80K. 3 handicaps against the Zons. Greased shoes [seeing a pattern], Doom And Gloom [he manage to cause 6 cas in the first half, and 2 more in the second], and I'm The Greatest [15 players on his team, got 2 useless ones.] Winnings, 80K... However, the great thrower was SId, [perm, obviously], and was retired. Oh well... ============================================================ Somehow, this team managed to survive the brutal onslaught of the other Super UMT Teams, and has rebuilt. However, sitting at only 130 TR, it is going back into the Regular UMT, Season 3, in which they will show the newcomer's how it's all done... ============================================================ And now, after 3 Seasons of the UMT, the Shiv Sena Party bids adieu to all the teams that palyed it, the first Season in which it kicked Righteous ass, and then got blasted apart constantly after... well, nice knowing you boys.
