Before joining the world of Bloodbowl Da Doompeak Outlawz were a roaming orc mob of "killas", "kuttfroats" and "feifs" (is there any other sort of orc mob?) who terrorized the lowlands of the old world until their violent and bloody capture. The capture of the remaining 12 survivors ended in them being sent for sentencing to Doompeak, the notorious prison outpost carved into the mountain itself. Here at Doompeak, the survivors were offered by the prison governer the choice of either execution, or a chance to play out their sentence on the Bloodbowl pitch in a penal Bloodbowl squad representing Doompeak. Naturally they jumped at the chance to play Bloodbowl, the whole mob accepted this as their sentence (except for one troll who ate the warden and was resentenced to death by the replacement warden a week later) and Da Doompeak Outlawz were born. Due to their criminal mindsets they tend not to play particulary well, generally setting up badly with little regard for tactics, arguing over the ball and hitting each other as much as the opposing team. Because of all this have either lost or drawn all their professional games so far. But with a bit of "social re-education" (or "Da Klaw Hamma", as their prison coach Jurassic-Monkey calls it) they hope to avoid becoming reformed citizens, stay on the Bloodbowl pitch and maybe just win a game or two in the process. Only 11 of the original mob remain now having lost Grubwort Teefkicka early on in the teams career. Willing players are always easy to find out in the prison yard though, it just depends on if they are any good... |
