The Chaos Wastes are filled with abominations and war-bands of mortal and daemon alike, desperately struggling to attain glory and blessing from the four dark gods. While some would imagine this to be an endless bloody conflict, since the rise of the sport known as Blood Bowl, it consists of some of the grandest and largest Chaos tournaments, involving a mix of daemons, mortals and beastmen alike fighting it out for the cup. Fundamentally it is the same game, except with the absence of a referee and their own unique "slant" on the cheating department.

While few teams manage to venture forth and compete themselves, let alone survive the first round, those few who have managed to return say that it is truly a "death defying" experience, not to mention how pleasant the local daemonettes are. The Chaos Waste Brawlers are amongst one of several hundred of the Chaos teams who have turned south, believing they can show the puny races of the south how things are really done. Unfortunately for them, southern Blood Bowl is just as if not more violent than their northern counterparts, partially because of the wide array of dastardly methods of cheating and sabotoge involved!
