Saardis Vaarn's Scary Vixens
P [R] Chaos Renegade

Starting off on the right foot, Saardis Vaarn and his loyal troupe of followers won a solid victory over the ogres and snotlings of Sex Bomb-obs (http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3293657). Saardis likes to set a good example as team captain, personally slaying an ogre (apo fail) and inflicting another cas as well. A very successful outing, and the Vixens look forward to many more fun-filled wins.

Win #2 in a rough match for Coach Garnak's Fermentation Flings (http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3294478). Bully thundered through one treeman in turn one, breaking his jaw and setting the tone for a strong Vixens performance throughout. Thanks to Nuffle, who blessed our dice with many POWs in the first half, giving a numbers advantage that the Flings couldn't overcome. Kudos/jeers to captain Saardis, who scored a TD but apparently was tired afterward, and spent almost all of the second half taking a nice nap in the dugout. Managed to get to 5 skill rolls--all normal, save Saardis' double.

The Vixens come back to earth versus a spunky "Chaos Dwarf" team made up of Hobgoblins and a Minotaur. Coach Cloggy's summary is spot on: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3296719. Basically, neither of us could catch a break, but the greater mental lapses that ended up costing us the game were all on me. Saardis rightly complains to the media post-game about whether the coach's head was in the game consistently...

Game Four is a sad one for the Vixens, less because we lost 3-1 to a well-coached Human team (http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3299200) as we had opportunities if Nuffle had cast the dice another way, but sad because in T16 we lost beloved Lindsay Bad, who had a CAS in the game and almost a TD before her untimely death. The Vixens vow revenge on the 12ers and look forward to taking another swipe at Coach Ludovicious' boys--the apo may not save their ogre from Bully next time!
