[B] Shambling Undead
| In the first game we were intensely unlucky with 2 deaths to Bergkamp and Oxlaide-Chamberlain and a serious injury. Lee Dixon and Sol Campbell showed some promise in defence however. Obviously we lost having taken such casualties. Ian Wright had a great first half scoring the first TD, but with the ball about to fly late in the second half at 1-1 he tripped and damaged himself while stretching for the catch. The game ended in a draw. Overmars killed a man and Henry bagged a score but we were outclassed and lost 3-1 to a skillful team. Overmars suffered a bad injury and we lost 2-1, nothing really went for us and the game continued a bad run for the team. Ashley Cole got a hattrick of blood as Henry scored in a 1-1 draw. Lee Dixon and Aaron Ramsey got stuck in but not enough as Sanchez grabbed our only score in a 2-1 loss and Tony Adams got a bad injury. |
