It all started with a group of friends that loved to try and find new recipes to eat. For a half sized individual, they sure could eat. At first, it was a hamburger with six patties, then they started making their own "epic" meals, that mainly consisted of massive amounts of meat, mainly bacon, and usually soaked in the best dwarven ale they could find.

Then, they started their own catering business Epic Meals that specialized in "meals for the extremely hungry". And everything just took off from there. Soon, they were known throughout the land and were sought after by common folk and royalty alike. They were known as the "iron Chefs" for the fact that they liked to wear cast iron pots and kitchen wear on their heads. To keep up, the hired a whole team of chefs to keep up with business. "The butcher" was the best at what he did, and was known for being able to use a chainsaw like a fine knife when cutting up huge slabs of meat and pork.

Soon, they all realized they loved Blood Bowl as much as each other and opted to sponsor themselves in the local tournament. And the Epic Iron Chefs were born. Once they hired two treeman from the forest nearby, they easily had a team of chefs, sous-chefs, waiters and maitre-d's to make up the new roster and went out playing in the local tournament/league circuit.
