Reddit History

The Priori Nurgen was established during the second Reddit League.


The preseason kicked off with a match against the Jungle Jammers, which lead to a quick 2-0 victory after the team was demoralised by the loss of Iwazaru Voiceless.
The Priori then faced the other Simyin team in the league, the Super (non)Robot Monkey Team.

Enraged by the loss of a member of his congregation, the
Pope of Pestilence smashed through their ranks, injuring three players and leaving them open to another 2-0 victory.
Against the Khemri, Tutenscrummin', the Priori failed to leave any lasting damage on the undead despite the loss of a Rotter, which resulted in a slow 1-1 tie.
Closing the preseason against Common Misteaks, the Priori Nurgen were overrun by the frogs, who scored two touchdowns with their superior speed and agility. Upset by the prospect of their first loss, the Priori, led by the
Pope of Pestilence, converted two players to their side and left another player unable to continue as the teachings of Nurgle gnawed at his consciousness. With the loss of two Blitzers, Common Misteaks was retired, ending their short run by defeating the Priori 0-2.

The Priori Nurgen were assigned to the OrangeRed South Divison.


Kicking off the Season proper with a game against the Seraphs of the End Times, a Vampire team, the Priori engaged in an all out assault upon the Vampires spiritual hold over their thralls. A decisive blow laid the wicked Crowley Eusford a smear on the ground. The Apothecary managed to pull him back together well enough for him to merely suffer smashed bones; a state that allowed him to regenerate from his injuries. The Bubonic Bishop managed to save the pitifully named Digestible Derek, bringing him into the congregation. The Vicar Vectori skillfully pulled off two touchdowns this game, despite the machinations of the Vampires.

A blessing by Nuffle lead the Khemri team Tuttenscrummin' to crush the Priori. With utterly no ability to seize the ball, the Priori were simply crushed in a long, painful combat.
