In Jest aims for longevity and glory as a team, not for individual players. Players who are injured are usually retired immediately. Players who have given long service while avoiding injury are often retired to allow them to enjoy their old age while still in good health. Despite this, there have been some memorable individuals who have earned an important place in the team's history.
