Like many human teams, F.C. United got it's start when a group of fans decided they could do things better than the team they were watching. Formed after a particularly dismal match between the Middenheim Marauders and Reikland Reavers that ended 0-5, many fans of the Marauders decided to form their own splinter team, one which would take the city by storm, and reclaim the past glories of names like Spike Sewitt, and Punt O'Hamlet.

Currently playing out of so called "Exiled Arena" outside the city walls of Middenheim proper in the small hamlet of Immelscheld, F.C. United has seen a booming shanty town crop up around it's grounds, which are sure to delight any visitor to the stadium, who is looking for quality entertainment at a far cheaper price than the city itself can boast.

16Hartungus EsselRookie LinemanHartungus was attemping a simple blood bowl tradition, the humble foul, in the 1-1 draw against the Chaotic team of Moosive, when he was tripped by a journeyman hired by the team.

The apothecary, too busy patching up another injured player, waved Hartungus away telling him to "walk off" his collapsed larynx. Needless to say he soon suffocated.
14Balthasar LehrRookie LinemanDuring a particularly bloody 1-2 loss against the Xyliads, Lehr found himself faced down with the massive strength of Cuban George, which was something he was ill prepared for. One punch from the troll was all it took, and Balthasar was no more.
5Gelfrat HerbarterRookie BlitzerKilled in the same match as Balthasar Lehr, Gelfrat, in the closing minutes of the match, became so blinded by rage of the continued survival of Stitch that he foolishly attempted to rush out of a scrum to murder him before the final whistle. He was gang tackled by the group into the ground where his skull shattered into several pieces.
1ThuringVeteran OgreThuring was at one point considered the rising star of F.C. United, having shown extrodinary skill early in his career, and a skilled application of force most Ogres could only dream of having. Sadly, a shattered collarbone spelled the end of his playing career, and Thuring now works with the Under 17s to help them learn the ins and outs of blocking before making it to the big leagues.
12Gosbert LorrensteinerVeteran LinemanKnown as a bastard of a man, Gosbert attempted to make a name for himself by stomping on any downed opponent he saw. A skill he admittadly got quite good at. However, other teams took offense to this, and during a match he found it was his legs that were being broken for once, ending his career. He now serves in the equally insidious role of team accountant.
13Axelbrand WannerVeteran LinemanKnown more for his hair than his skill on the field, Axelbrand was considered by some to be touched by the chaos god of beauty Slaaneesh, although he and the team denied it (especially as it would mean he was illegally on a human team!). Sadly for him, a blow to the head left a hideous scar on his face, and he has not been seen in public since.

Unfortunatly, the league comissioner said that since the Marauders are still around, and are very hostile to our club even existing, we cannot claim their legends as our own.
