Naming History Hochland Highlanders Flashfurt Universe originally started out as Hochland Highlanders sponsored by the famous Hochland beer brewery brand. After several scandals over mistreated ogres and corruption Hochland finally cancelled the cooperation and the team choked on financial problems. One year later the university of Flashfurt refinanced the team but could not manage to reobtain the naming rights. The team has played under the name Flashfurt Universe since. Omission of the 'C' Team Colors Flashfurt Universe is famous for its purple clothing line with orange undergarments. Available at the shops after every game. Mentality Flaschfurt is famous for its open minded trade philosophy that has stood at times in contrast with the otherwise mining oriented region of Hochland. It it famous for the slogan 'No walls but bridges.' and Flaschfurt takes great pride in its multicultural background and its willingness to welcome anyone in the city who brings money. The team of the Flashfurt University tries to convey this same mentality to the world and invites everyone to pillgrimage to the nice town in the center of the Empire for a brew of fine beer or to just enjoy the nice mountain weather. Hooligan Problems With the success of the Flashfurt team new supporters from the mountain region are flocking to the town when games are held. Reportedly they have been throwing rocks and rioting in the past. Flashfurt Universe appreciates every support but demands that fans should be watching instead of interfering with the game. Headcoach Scandal Wreckage has been known to repeatedly go head to head with other coaches, often making condescending remarks about their abilities. At the end of Season 1 of Wreckage's time as a head coach an incident occurred where he made supposedly terrible somewhat racist remarks against the headcoach of the Brionne Bucanners. University Flashfurt no longer feels Wreckage is representing their general philosophy well and is considering a change in leadership. However, if Wreckage wins the Superbowl it will be hard to convey this decision to the management. Retirement Offer As a consquence of Wreckage's influence on the poor draft picks in season 2, he has offered since to withdraw from office if he does not make playoffs. Internal rumors emerged that the real reason for the offer is the scandal and that he was pressured to take the deal by his clubs general manager. As can be concluded from one of his most recent interviews. With the loss of Flashfurts most valued Blitzer John Lynch against the Akendorf Griffens it has become less and less likely Flashfurt will actually not manage to make playoffs. KFC North has been since dominated by the Unicorns. In a compessionate statement Bghandras declared his support for Wreckage's trade decisions. This was not well recieved by Flashfurts GM and he insisted that Wreckage would indeed stick to arrangement he had made earlier with the club. Team Successes Season One With 20 points and no losses it was the the most successful team in both conferences. Record for the highest-TD difference of both conferences at 10 in 8 games. Flashfurt successfully won the Superbowl. Season Three Individual Successes Season One Mike Evans: , 3rd Week; , 5th Week John Lynch: , 9th week Draft Picks Season One
