Drakwald is a province of The Empire, being the homeland of the ancient Thuringians. Situated between The Wasteland on the west, Middenland on the south-east and Nordland on the north.

Its ruler, Count Vilner, established the Drakwald Dental School in 1109IC to offer cosmetic dentistry services to local dignitaries, the elite class and his mistress; whose teeth were so yellow, when she spat, she spat butter.

Students of the school spend much of their free time between pulling teeth, putting teeth back in, fitting dentures to dragons and replacing the fillings of local ogres, playing Blood Bowl for the alumni team.
