The agile stars come to the Deserted Isles too, though this is their first visit in living memory and perhaps their last if rumours of stars retiring from the circuit is to be true, one of the likely to be leaving is.

The Longstriders are a band of merry elves who follow the great, uh, the capable, uh, that wood elf Dolfar to where he is wanted. To be fair Dolfar isn't wanted much, something about the size of his fee and relationship with the Guild of Wizards regular costings. But here, he is. Tada!

Agile "star" Dolfar Longstrider's last hurrah visit to the Deserted Isles should demonstrate why he's so unloved.


First we played against one Hackflem Skuttlespike. Failed to score on our drive as Lightning Lenny fell at the line, but pushed them along and got a return after that mutant rat nearly stole it off Dolfar. Star of the game Middling Mark carried in the tie.

Next we played against Roxanna Darknail, for a while, and then she was off, so we scored, and then we scored again. Couldn't score a third time, but surprisingly it was enough to win! Dolfar pushed two players! What a champ.

Last we played Hubris Rakarth. What a bully, but we almost held him. Sadly his team looked after him until near the end and we took the draw, which wasn't enough to progress. A fine ending for Dalfar, middle of the pack.

Stinkfinger had rather a lot more team training than our lot, and some skills. It was a big ask and the followers of Dolfar just weren't up to it. Neither was Dolfar, but that's less of a surprise.

Since then, 1/1/2, which is about right for Dolfar against teams who train. Mostly Lightning Lenny getting things done, though Dolfar does fetch him the ball.
