First Round Match Report
Hjor Erpsson carried the Salt Lake Blizzard to a 2-1 victory and Coach Benji's first ever major tournament game victory. Hjor scored both of the teams touchdowns, rushed for 29 yards, and added a casualty on top of that. Yawan, Jomar Gamlisson, and Tyrkir Ulfarsson combined for five casualties.

Second Round Match Report
The Salt Lake Blizzard beat the Rakfisk Ravagers BBL 2-1 via penalty shootout. The game kicked off with a pitch invasion which should have been an indicator of the dogfight to come. Blizzard star player Helmut Wolf was banned on the first turn of the game for fouling. The Ravager's Snow Troll Filmjölk II suffered a broken neck in turn three of the first half. The Blizzard's Snow Troll was almost equally ineffective as he lost 10 turns to wild animal. The Blizzard struggled all game against the Ravager's Runner Knäck III as he used his dodging and side stepping skills to stay on his feet and keep pressure on the Blizzard ball carriers, however, the Blizzard finally got to him on the very last turn of the game, killing him for some sweet sweet satisfaction. The Ravagers tied the game with two turns left and the Blizzard were unable to win in regulation. The Ravagers won the OT coin toss and elected to receive. The blizzard stole the ball and had a chance to score on turn 8 of OT but dropped a handoff. The blizzard rolled a two for the shootout, but the Ravagers rolled a one. The Blizzard look forward to the quarter finals up next.

Quarter Finals Match Report
The Salt Lake Blizzard lose 2-1 in overtime to the Northern Zone due to an extreme suckout. It looked like the Blizzard were going to be able to hold the Northern Zone without a score in the first half but Northern Zone Ulfwerener Lethest made an unimaginable dodge, pick up in the pouring rain, and double go for it to score. The Blizzard were able to tie the game in the second half but just couldn't keep up in overtime with only six players available.
