My players are named after the waitresses at Rosie Rumpe's Royale Dumpe. It is a "theme" restaurant in Williamsburg, Virginia, based on the Middle Ages. Please check it out if you are in the area! 6-9-04: THE DAY AFTER THE TULIPS' AGONY Lungbasher decides that Rosey Rump's Flaming Tulips Gentleghoul's Club is about out of talent for his team. He decides to walk across the street and visit a new gentleghoul's club, Leggs. Ca-Ching! Leggs BB team is formed! Lung's just needed to get his "blood flowing again!" 6-10-04: Lungbasher unveils the logo. Obviously, he is smitten with the club's owner, Betty "Leggs" Boop, because he chooses to place her image on the team's helmet! She does have a great pair of Legs! FIRST GAME & FIRST WIN: 6-11-04 vs Air Wave With Betty in attendance, Lungbasher leads the team to its first victory. After a defensive TD on the 2nd turn of the game, Air Wave's fans riot for six turns! The officials clear the pitch until everyone has calmed down. Leggs adds a second TD early in the second half and coasts the rest of the way. No apoth but no serious injuries! The 100K winnings helped hire an apoth! SECOND GAME IN A ROW WITH 6T RIOT: 6-12-04 vs Treetop Frolickers Leggs scores on T4 and then his fans riot! His treeman so intimidated that his first block of the second half is a DS. This turned the game in favor of Leggs and we get the win. TURKEY! (Three Wins in a Row): 6-15-04 vs G.M. Frogs The third win in a row doesn't come without a loss: Emma Easy was the first Leggs' player to die on the pitch! SMALL STRAIGHT! (Four Wins in a Row): 6-15-04 vs Voluption Once again, the win doesn't come without a player loss: Silk Panties is armor gimped in her first game and is forced to retire, Seka Longdong is movement gimped, and Cherry Topop is killed but the apoth succeeds. 6-1 as of 6-16-04! The bubble hasn't burst yet! KNOCK ON WOOD! THE "RAZTA" RULE: IF YOU HAVE A DIRTY PLAYER ON YOUR TEAM, DO NOT ASK FOR A GAME WITH LEGGS! DO NOT LISTEN TO RAZTA! HE WILL "DOUBLE SPEAK." At one point, Rosey (5 AG) missed three straight attempts to pick up the ball. MASSACRED IN WAMPY'S SWAMP! 6-26-04 vs Wampy's Both WDs seriously injured (one gimped and one niggled) and three others MNG! THEY ARE NOW ARE SWORN ENEMY! WE SEEK REVENGE! Elves lose 2-1 because the BBRC has let this game get out of hand! Please, cannot someone invent a game where the only dice used are the block dice! The numbered dice have got to go! They are ucking up a great game!!!! LUCKIEST COACH: GKEN (Sotek's Warriors) The game against the Warriors was the last game I am going to play against him. His luck is out-of-this-world against me! BIGGEST PAYCHECK! 7-20-04 vs Finstre Gesellen A pitch invasion kills the rats' star thrower and forces the apoth to be used on first kickoff of the game. Within two turns, I BH two players and kill a third. He concedes and we get paid $170,000 gold pieces! It helped that his handicap was sponsorship deal! MOST FEARED OPPONENT: BOYD THE BEAST 7-21-04 vs Bringers of the Apocalypse His tentacles rendered the entire team useless for the first half! The only person who could stop him was himself! He was stupid for the first four turns of the second half! |
