TEAM BIO Team bio: Following Coach Arcayn's departure with the team and team treasury from Fort Solace, Mr Foxx Cowhead was run out of town... er identified a new business opportunity and has setup a new DLE Franchise on the Isle of Albion. After many discussions with the Druidic council, Mr Foxx Cowhead has been granted the use of the magical Stone Circle, Great Ogham as a Stadium and agreed the building of a new state of the art HEAVY LIFTING training facility through partnership with ReeBlock. The following statement was released by Mr Foxx Cowhead spokesman earlier: "Following the relocation of the Griffins to the Isle of Albion, the team will be known as 'Great Ogham Griffins' The Great Ogham Griffins management team are proud to bring the DLE to new frontiers and see this as an excellent opportunity to restore the Griffins to their former heights and compete for the highest honours of the DLE." Further questions were cut short as a mysterious mist swept into the circle and various threatening sounds and shadows were seen, including that of a legendary fearsome one eyed monster. Albion is a small island to the north of The Old World, just off the coast of Norsca. The island is cloaked in a perpetual fog and it is said that it rains there every day of the year. The landscape is covered in marshes and fens, and mystical stone circles are scattered throughout the lands. The main inhabitants of the island are barbaric woad-wearing humans tribes led by Truthsayers. Though Fen Beasts, Treemen, Pixies, Giants and Fimir are also known to inhabit these lands. Bloodbowl is one of only two sport played by the human inhabitants of Albion, the other involve kicking an inflated Squig corpse around until the squig ends up inside a wooden frame called a 'goal'. Albion teams tend to focus on the brute strength aspects of the game. Finesse and ball skills have never been an integral part of the Albion playing style, however the newly installed team coach has promised to bring startling brilliant ball players to the island to backup the tough local talent and to showcase the best that the DLE has to offer!
