| First game we were slaughtered by Goblins. The Coach,just out of retirement made good calls but Lady Luck danced with the snotty little green b'stards that day. Many men dead or career-endingly injured, game lost due to too few men to defend. Game 2 was an all lineman Delf team, saw them off. Game 5 against Khemri, but we quickly isolated the Tomb Guardians from the rest of the team, scored last turn of both drives. Matches 8 and 9 were a shambles, first against a Chaos coach would happily start the turn with a Mino block, the second to a Pact Mino that got 4 cas on his own! The Crows seem to spend almost all of that game stunned. 2MNGs game 8 left us under guarded and 2 players died in game 9, as well as 2 loners. fun. Game 10 smashed some Helves, game 11 was a scramble in the rain against Lizards. We were lucky to KO their Krox and Helmet Wulf in the first few turns, however ultimately we drew, with the Lizards showing that you don't actually need rerolls or Block if only youre that gud. Game 21 RIP Robbie Burns, and also my chance of winning that game. (gr8 replay) |
