Joining their talents from around the world, the players of the Vancouver Canoeists aim to cut a mean J-stroke through the opposition and show they are as good on the pitch as they are in their crafts. The beautiful city of Vancouver was chosen as their home port because of its proximity to all sorts of water sports... not to mention the easy access to beautiful grass fields with views of the bay and surrounding mountains where these strong paddlers love to toss the spiky ball around for some good-natured roughhousing. Having developed a decent team and playstyle, the Canoeists have challenged local teams and established themselves as the premier team on the west coast. The natural progression from here is to compete at the international level and invite teams from around the world to Vancouver as well as travel far and wide to seek new challenges and play on foreign terrain.
