The Pohenegamook Meese is a bit of a misnomer as most of the players including Lumbering Jack himself actually haunt the hills of the North Maine Woods crossing over illegally at Est Court Station Maine into the resort town of Pohenegamook to play their home games in an open glade down by the lake. If the Canadian government ever builds a wall along their southern border and wants the CBFL to pay for it, well now at least you know why.

This is the team that Jack built. Jack is a large, lumbering moose that is the spiritual protector of the North Maine Woods, but he has had his work cut out for him as the lumber industry has been non stop for decades. He has his minions and his shape shifter allies to help. In an unexpected turn of events, Trumps' lumber tariffs on Canadian lumber really put a damper on the logging between Quebec and Northern Maine. Freed from constantly guarding the forest during this unexpected downturn, 'Lumbering' Jack and his band of wild hunters decided to spend their free time throwing down on the sevens blood bowl pitch. Since Estcourt stations population of 1 is a little light to support a CBFL team, they secretly cross the border and play for their adopted town that surrounds a beautiful glacial lake. A characterization of Ponik, the reported sea monster that resides there is the teams mascot.
