Sorgath's Chosen
Lord Elrak Umber
Shadow Prince.
Traitor of Yrakk.
Also knowns as the butcher of Yriel Plains.
Team Captain.
An original of Sorgath's chosen champions.
Background
\Elrak Umber was a lord of Fort Yrakk. He had been corrupted by daemons of Chaos and convinced to betray the council of Yrakk. He recruited a handful of guards to help dark forces impregnate the fort. Umber and his guards were later to be called the traitors of Yrakk. Most of the soldiers were recruited into the Tzeentch Traitor Legion while Lord Elrak Umber was given the title of Shadow Prince and given his own army.
The Shadow Prince helped Sorgath, the Son of Wrath, in his campaign against the Men and Elves of the Old World. After a huge defeat in battle, the Shadow Prince was offered his life in exchange for a position as a captain in a team of lethal football. The Gods of Chaos had clearly forsaken him.
Doomlord Merkier
Merkier the Corrupted.
Doomlord.
Also known as the Lord of Shadowlands.
An original of Sorgath's chosen champions.
Background
Merkier once led a great campaign against the evil forces of Chaos. He was the commander of an army that pushed far into the Shadowlands before he was lured into darkness. The commander led his army into a final battle. His men followed him loyally not knowing that the battle offered nothing but certain death, for their commander was corrupted by the dark forces of Chaos.
Merkier was granted the title of Doomlord and given an army by the Dark Lords. He later quelled several attempts by Men, just like his own, to invade the Shadowlands. He later became known as the Lord of Shadowlands.
Merkier was the warmaster to Sorgath in the battle against an Elven Prince in the Old World. They had lost, but survived. His previous achievements seemed forgotten by the Dark Lords as he was later forced to serve as a player in a team of lethal football to be broadcast for entertainment.
Career

Alzary Ferrizza
The Breaker of Will.
Background
Alzary has fought many battles alongside Sorgath, even before he was known as The Son of Wrath. She is The Breaker of Will. Opponents have been known to stop fighting in her presence. She is known for extracting vital information from any enemies surviving a battle.
Sorgath had given her all that she desired and on more than one occasion save her life. When she got word of the defeat and humiliation he suffered in the Old World, she immediately traveled south to his aid. She would help him restore his reputation as The Son of Wrath by leading his team to victory. She was not certain she had any skills that would translate into football, but she was determined to break the will of her opponents, as she's always done. How hard could it be after the opponents tremble in fear?

Snoor Swifthoof
Kid of Chieftain Barknoor Swifthoof.
An original of Sorgath's chosen champions.
Background
Snoor was being groomed as cheiftain by his father cheiftain Barknoor Swifthoof. As a final tria,l before he could succeed his father, he had to prove his prowess as a warlord. He was given the command of half the clan to participate in a campaign led by the Son of Wrath into the Old World. He would return a combat veteran and cheiftain of the Swifthoof clan.
Verlak was one of the few survivors of clan Swifthoof at the battle against the elven Prince. His defeat would not impress his father and would not grant him the title of chieftain. Snoor was among the chosen for Sorgath's football team. This would be Snoor's second chance to show his worth to Clan Swifthoof. He would be a Chaos MVP broadcasted by KabalVision. He would prove he's worth the title of cheiftain.
Career
Back to the roots (2020-10-12)
This whole playing ball thing really frustrated Snoor in the last game. The humans where fast, agile and too skilled. Snoor just gave up and defaulted to what he knows best: beating enemies up.

A humorous gift from the Dark Lords (2020-10-10)
Clan Swifthoof is known for its family members that are often fast and agile. Snoor practiced laps every night at the stadium. He was to become the star quarterback, he imagined. He was therefore quite surprised when the Dark Lords appointed him the most valuable player and imbued him with unnatural strength instead of speed. The Dark Lords are not without humor, it seems.

Kruuk were among the few survivors that were later offered a position in a team of lethal football in exchange for his life. Kruuk now has laid his eyes on a trinket much finer than any of the ones he already possess. The legendary Blood Bowl!
Career
Promoted to the position of Thrower (2020-10-10}
Football came naturally to Kruuk almost immediately. Throwing the ball was not that dissimilar from throwing a spear. He scored his first touchdown in his very first game. Sorgath recognized his talent and he was promoted to the position of thrower. Sorgath hired a personal trainer to improve Kruuk's passing skills before the next game.

Silash Nuub
Also known as The Growler.
Infamous for being crazy.
An original of Sorgath's chosen champions.
Background
Silash became a feared fighter already at a young age. She is larger than even most male beastmen and her growl both deeper and more intimidating. Her brethren have mixed feelings about fighting alongside her. Something had always felt wrong about her. Her flacking gaze. She always seemed on edge. Her disregard for both friend and foe on the battlefield.
Silash suffered a humiliating defeat against an Elven Prince in a battle led by Sorgath, the Son of Wrath. The Dark Lords had offered them redemption if they agreed to form a team and engage in games of lethal football. Silash was promised free reigns on the football field - the same as she had had on the battlefield - which is all she really cares about.

Verlak's latest win of the blood rites granted him the title of Warmaster to Snoor Switfhoof, his nephew, in a campaign led by Sorgath, the Son of Wrath, to sack the Old World. His wide knowledge of battle would be shown insufficient in the war with the army of the Elven Prince Elavenduil. He was later chosen by Sorgath for a football team to restore his reputation.
Career
Tackled by a giant lizard (2020-10-10)
Football was different from battle tactics. Verlak had a hard time to adjust. He tried to pay attention to the game and understand the movement and intentions of the opposing team. In the second game he payed a little too much attention to the ball and not enough to the giant lizard breathing down his neck. He was tackled hard without notice and fractured his knee.

Grosh and his warband was picked up by Sorgath, the Son of Wrath, on his campaign into the Old World. Grosh was among the survivors of the battle against the Elven Prince Elavenduil. Career
Going up against the biggest of them (2020-10-11)
In the last game, Alosh stood toe to toe with not one but three huge monsters: an ogre, a troll and a minotaur. The broken horn of Driga showed that he had the courage to stand up against all three of them. Such courage is rewarded by the Dark Lords.

Most of the clan was slain as they protected Miira on the battlefield when she fought her way through elven enemies to reach an elven prince named Elavenduil. In a final blow she severed the royal elven head from Elavenduil's body. Despiter her herioc act, her forces were defeated that day. But even in defeat, Miira is now known as the Slayer of Elves. She was one of the chosen for the football team after Sorgath had bartered with the Dark Lords for a new army, and was forced to settle with their lives spared instead.
Career
Staying out of harms way (2020-10-11)
The last game was truly a tough one. The angry Norsemen of team Gla Gla Gla were tough as nails and Miira had to really stay on her hoofs to avoid tackles left and right. It reminded her slightly of when she dodged swords and spear when seeking the elven prince on the battlefield. Something clicked during the game. I've finally got a hang of this, she thought to herself.

Career
Learning how to block in a run for the end zone (2020-10-10)
Keylax found himself amidst beaten and broken allies when Kruuk shoved a ball in his hands. "Go!" Kruuk shouted. Keylax ran as fast as he could, tackling elves right and left. He reached the end zone right before the buzzer sounded. What would otherwise be a defeat was now reduced to a tie. Keylax learned a thing or two about tackling enemies that day!

Risha Gargohl
Also known as The Fan.
Background
Risha has always been a fan of football. Ever since she was a young kid. Her father wanted her to become a warrior, but every opportunity she got she ran to the local stadium to watch the games. She grew up dreaming of becoming a football star player one day!
Recently she heard of a new team coached by some guy from beyond the Shadowlands. She eagerly watched their first two games and cheered on. They certainly weren't seasoned football players, that much was apparent. But they were fierce on the field and somehow managed to win both their first games!
Risha approached their head coach after their second straight win to congratulate him. Sorgath could feel her passion for football. He asked her to join his team as Verlak One-Eye had fractured his knee during the last game. Was Risha a good football player? Who knows. What exactly IS a good football player? Sorgath didn't yet know how to tell a good football player apart from a bad one. But he needed a replacement for Verlak in his next game...
