Nobody comes to Kallax's house for dinner.

What can you say that hasn't been said about Justina? Pretty much anything, really, but chiefly that she loves goblins. Not romantically, naturally, but loves playing against them. Two TDs in her first four games both came against the tiny greenskins.

Stockholm Matta has the nickname of 'Eken', or 'The Oak', in Norse because he says he is as tough as an ancient tree that grows in the middle of his family's home on the outskirts of Haugrvik. His friends whisper that the name relates to his prowess in bed. However, the truth is that he was nicknamed 'Eken' because he is obsessed about headbutting things, just like a woodpecker. Naming him 'Eken', after the tree that woodpeckers pecked was more sensible than naming him after the bird itself as Stockholm struggles with spelling long words like 'mindre-fläckig norsca hackspett'.

Brought in to bolster a faltering attack, Dator is the team doctor. He has already seen the vast majority of players come through his doors so has built a strong reputation with the squad. Nonetheless, he refuses to pass to any of those buffoons.

Klippan and her brother are fearsome Norscan warriors, drafted in to fend off all foes on the line of scrimmage at the Kolja Stadion. However, when she is not playing the world's most popular sport, she plays solo clarinet in the Soffan family band. Their unique style of relaxing melodies are unusual in Norsca, where the population often prefers the sound of enemies being crushed, hearing them driven before them, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Klippan prefers woodwind to lamentation.

Billy is the superstar of the team with superstar demands to match. He has a well-appointed retinue follow him wherever he goes; they open doors, pour drinks, chop food, comb hair, wipe- well, they pretty much do everything he wants them to do. Considering his diary is fully-booked with appointments, endorsements, interviews, and the occasional Blood Bowl match, it is hardly surprising that they have so much to do! But, once in a while, if you're lucky, you might see one of them, their cheery façade slipping, and they shoot a look at Billy that infers more than plain disloyalty. The aura around Billy never disappears though - unlike any hangers-on that even think about betraying him...

Don't mess with Dolkstra! That's her slogan that she is desperately trying to get everyone to adopt but it's not quite catching on. Her old name, Dockstra, didn't really mean anything so she changed it once the fame of Blood Bowl came knocking on her door. Dolkstra has a ruthless streak as wide as her broad shoulders and will not accept second best from anyone in the team, least of all herself. After a defeat, she can be found in the changing rooms hitting herself with a steel locker as a kind of fervent penitence if she thinks the loss was her fault. If it was someone else's fault, she prefers to use just a wooden bench.

Poäng is the token Vinlander - one of the races of men who travelled from Naggarond east to Norsca for the weather. His family settled on the Bay of Skulls several generations ago and now he runs a kindergarten for the children of berserker families. The cost of replacing all the crayons that get eaten every week is high, but, he argues, it's the kids that really matter, not the expense of having to hire staff on full-time mop and bucket duty after little Erik brought in his father's warhammer to show and tell.
