The first replacement player for the Takers after his strong-armed predecessor niggled out. Since that time he's done nothing short of making the team his own, building off their occasionally passable running game and adding an airborne dimension.

Granted, they still don't win often, but now they look better losing.

He started out the slowest thing on the team, in terms of speed and of learning. At 14 games he had collected a leg injury and a single MVP that no one quite knows why he got it.
Once he finally picked up on the nuances of the blocking game thereafter though, he quickly found he loved it, and threw himself into the game with abandon.
Ok, so he threw himself slowly into it, but he's gotten better.

A painful replacement, Rag'th Arthag retired after 61 games, according to coaches he was just getting too old to play the game, and was either sitting out consistently, or insisting on the apothecary's services to get him up for the game.
Ruzzug may be dumber and uglier, but at least according to the most knowledgeable sources, he's younger, and has at least something of an idea how to throw a goblin.
Decent start.

Little brother of the 'Takers biggest star to date, he stepped in when injury forced Tugor to retire to the sidelines, being retained as a coach in the hopes of building some kind of scoring game.

Replacement for just another of the numbered gobbos... no respectable orc bothering to actually learn the stunties name, even if the original Too was one of the leading scorers.
Injuries led to the creatively named Too Two, who has picked right up where the other began, soaring through the air and occasionally even landing for the score.

As one of the three original players still on the field for the Skulltakers, despite spending his first several games showing nothing special, Gurot is now one of the team's old vets, and it shows in his consistency and ability to hold the line.

Brog is the model of consistency. He's never done anything spectacular in his increasingly long career. No TDs, no completions, no interceptions, not even a single casualty in all those games. He wouldn't even know how to block right except that a couple of MVP votes motivated him.
The one thing he almost always can be counted on to do though is play. Day in, day out, sometimes as a starter when the front-liners aren't feeling up to taking the field, usually as an injury reserve.
Except missing a couple games with a fractured leg though, he's one of the few 'Takers who can say he was there from day one.

The last of the team's original great unit of blitzers, Knuckles has always been an unrepentant brawler more than a scorer, and yet somehow manages to scrape his way into nearly every game. Others have been quicker, more agile, stronger and so on, but he's unquestionably the most enduring.
