Biography: Aubrey grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. At the early age, she met Davan when her mother answered an ad Mrs. Macintire had placed to get her abnormally antisocial son a "playdate." Since then, Aubrey has played the roles of Davan's conscience, evil impulses, protector and shadow. This is, of course, when she's not pursuing her own schemes.

Aubrey is a product of the finest Catholic All-Girls schools in Fort Worth. It was in those surroundings she learned the importance of stealing, drinking, smoking, cheating, lying and using plaid skirts and a pouty set of lips to make boys tremble. She was also an actress throughout her childhood as well as an accomplished little ballet dancer. She's applied her acting and grace to many things most people wouldn't admit to.

Unlike her other best friend, PeeJee, Aubrey is usually not physically violent. She instead broods and contemplates new ideas to amuse herself. She usually instigates most of the plots they pursue and most consider her more threatening.

Aubrey is known for impressively short-lived relationships, but current she's dating Jason Pratchett - whom she's also living with. It is doubtful this will end well.

Sara Felton is the exception that proves the rule. Where the rest of the Knights Of the Dinner Table are the fire, heart and soul, Sara is the cooler, wiser head of the group, the perfect foil to their impetuousness - a consummate professional in the business of HackMaster™.

Moving from Wisconsin to Muncie, the hometown of her cousin B.A. Felton, Sara was invited to join the Knights. The wealth of experience she brought to the Table was more than anyone expected - role-playing for ten years, regional champion of the Wisconsin Gary Jackson Role-Playing Tourney for four years running and attending the HackMaster™ camp in 1992 (spending ten days in grueling study of demi-human cultures).

Sara even stretches her skills into the role of GameMaster with ease, her latest triumph being to convince a bunch of sexist Hack'N'Slash maniacs to put aside their usual characters for a night and play female characters, warming her up for an upcoming GaryCon tournament.

Sara is quite the perfectionist; for her, the art of HackMaster™ and role-playing is more of a science to be carefully and properly executed, whether in the playing, GameMastering, or even tasks such as mere mapping. Her role-playing is technically near perfect, with her ability to either suppress or use her personal feelings to enhance her role-playing. She has earned her respect - not only from the people who live in the many worlds of HackMaster™, but even from the most impossible taskmasters of the game - the Knights Of the Dinner Table.

Sara has reflexes that would scare a striking cobra. Those instant reflexes, however, are generally used for only one thing around the table. The second someone makes a sexist comment, Sara's hand is tightly gripped on his or her shirt, pulling him or her into range of the fist she has cocked and ready to launch into the face of the offender.
Unless a sexist comment has been made, Sara maintains her cool at all times. Sure, she regrets the loss of her favorite character Zayre the Barbarian, but she keeps the perspective that Zayre was just a fictional construct defined by numbers on paper. A cool, calm professional, Sara is ready to move on to bigger and better game sessions with her expertise in the game that is HackMaster™.

Weapon Proficiencies: Quarterstaff, Verbal Correction.
Appearance: Piffany is a plump, redheaded cleric of diminutive stature, dressed in a burnt-orange robe and tan tunic. She carries a staff with a gold adornment on its top. Her face is dominated by large, thick-lensed glasses.
Magic Items: Staff of harmony. This clerical artifact was made to aid the forces of good and fight naughtiness. it detects strong evil presences automatically if an evil creature of 5 Hit Dice or more comes within 30 feet. Moreover, it allows the wielder to command (as the spell) three times per day. As a weapon, it acts as a mace +3 against naughty creatures. In the hands of a lawful good cleric, it can be "charged' with five spells from the cleric's deity. The spells can be of two levels above the cleric's experience and are placed in the staff when the cleric meditates on her personal spells. It smells faintly of bubble gum.
Duct tape of healing. This is the mightiest mender of broken bodies the world has ever known. It can re-attach limbs and heads, revive the recently dead, and repair those who have been cut, bruised, mangled, squished, perforated, eaten, incinerated, or used to stop the gears of large machines. Anyone whose wounds or remains are wrapped in this stuff is cured of what ails 'em in 1 day. An entire roll of tape can cover a whole body. Piffany always has 4-6 rolls at any given time.
Piffany also wears leather armor +5.
Background: Piffany is the epitome of goodness, sweetness, and light. Her birth was said to be heralded by rainbows, songbirds singing in three-part harmony, and her entire village having a 'nice day." She was given to her clerical order by her parents, who reportedly were sleep-deprived due to Piffany's 300-watt halo of purity keeping them (and most surrounding farm animals) awake at night.
Piffany excelled at the clerical art of healing, especially when using a product of her temple: duct tape. This came in handy when she sought to bring light to the world via adventuring. She picked her companions carefully, choosing those who could most use her moral guidance. She finds that the one who needs her more frequently, however, is her party's henchman, Nodwick. Inexplicably, he always seems to wind up getting hurt in traps, caught in the jaws of monsters, and hurled into the lairs of dragons.
Her crusade for the forces of nice has been a long and hard one, but mostly for Artax and Yeagar, who find little problem with resorting to underhanded tactics of questionable morality. She hasn't given up on convincing them to turn from their semi-wicked ways.
Roleplaying Notes: Piffany would see the bright side to midnight in a coal chute. She has more "pip" in her than a wagon load of greeting cards. Due to her unfathomable depths of pithiness, her effective Charisma is treated as an 18, especially when she is attempting to motivate others. Though she adheres to her alignment with gusto, she is easily distracted by her erstwhile companions while they toss Nodwick into the jaws of peril. Any animosity toward Piffany should be considered an evil act. An attempt to harm her person is an act of fiendishness on a par with selling illegal substances to nuns while pulling the wings off flies as you pen the script for Wing Commander II.

So... has the Zoe-Torg thing become the defacto sexual tension in the strip? I can't tell if Pete is steering toward "not right for each other but still interested" or "star crossed". Of course, we all know how star-crossed lovers end up, little crucified stars all over the floor... nobody wants that.

Has there been some sort of shift in the Gwynn character? She's become pretty cunning and devious of late, not to mention becoming very regular. Not that I mind, it just seems she's gotten lots more center-panel action lately. "Center Panel Action" sounds dirty when I read it again. Why the hell is that?!? There is something very wrong with me.

She does not believe in random carnage, but instead prefers carefully thought out carnage, or at least justifiable carnage. Though she is a tolerant soul, at times she has a bit of a temper. When you've filled up her crap reservoir, she lets you know... by any means necessary. This happens a lot to Ben.
