Orcland Tygers
The Orcland Tygers was originally built around Truk Blitza, the chieftain’s most enthusiastic and apparently ‘skilled’ (a loose term) player. Truk has been the team’s captain since day one, and leads by example. He expects the team to keep up with him, in terms of both the speed at which he plays, and his unending enthusiasm to go forward…
Only narrowly failing to score in both of his (and the team’s) first two games, yet directly assisting both scores, he finally got into the score sheet in their third game, with a mazy half-long run, cutting back and forth across the pitch several times before breaking into the end zone.
Truk is particularly proud of his blitzers; Nyarc, Diglad Skullhack, and Haygar Urik, his “Leeful Posse”, a set of players who are elevated above the rest of the team.
Big Guy
Bone Head
Mighty Blow
Thick Skull
Throw Team Mate
Aside from a barely acceptable performance against a Halfling (!!) team, N'thgarr has significantly under-whelmed the team with mediocre and shite performances, when so very much more was expected.
He’s without question the least popular player in the team…
Nyarc is one of Truk’s favoured “Leeful Posse”, and was the first Orcland Tyger to score a touchdown in competitive play.
Diglad Skullhack is one of Truk’s favoured “Leeful Posse”, and was the second Orcland Tyger to score.
Being ‘only a thrower’ Grishnak has been left out of Truk’s “Leeful Posse”, and hence the team’s elite. Taking this as an insult Grishnak has been working out, working out to prove ‘them’ (meaning everyone) wrong about him. As a result Grishnak is now so pumped up he’s a match for any of the team’s black orc blockers, and even the team’s ogre makes sure he doesn’t offend the thrower.
What Grishnak now does with this newly found physical dominance, has yet to be seen…
Haygar Urik is one of Truk’s favoured “Leeful Posse”.
