Old hand Gorgoth is now Darkland’s longest serving and most experienced player, as well as it’s career touchdown record holder; an obvious choice for team captain. He is quiet and often softly spoken, but his every mannerism exudes surly threat and malice. He leads by example, and expects his players to keep up with him. No-one in the team would be so bold as to question that expectation.<br><br><i><b>Gorgoth</b> / 'horror' or 'dread'</i>

A first year rookie, Morwen is a pumping heart amongst the younger players within an otherwise experienced Darkland team. Charismatic, aggressive, loud and in-your-face, ever refusing to yield, surrender, or lay down and give up, the witch elf is a dynamic spitfire of energetic mayhem on the field. Her first game for the Darkland senior team saw her pick up a brace of touchdowns, an interception, a casualty, and repeatedly being the nemesis of the opposing team. Few would dispute she is a future Darkland star in the making.<br><br>Currently on a streak of seven touchdowns in five games; five coming from Mormegil passes, and one from an interception return.<br><br><i><b>Morwen</b> / 'dark-maiden'</i>

After several seasons with Darkland, Mormegil has now secured the starting thrower position and made it his own. More vocal than captain Gorgoth, Mormegil has become the team’s natural vice captain, leading with a mixture of tactical savvy, shouted orders, and star performances; in recent times Mormegil has frequently been voted the team’s most valuable player – something he makes sure everyone else realises.<br><br><i><b>Mormegil</b> / 'dark-sword'</i>
