At the tender young age of a mere eight games, Landon Stormcrow is already proving himself to be the equal -- and some might say the better -- of his rival Jordell Freshbreeze.

Born to a neighboring clan of wood elves, Landon trained from a young age to hone his skills on the pitch. Carefully studying the matches in which Jordell played, he's taken those observations to the field and tried to improve upon them. One aspect of his game that his nemesis Jordell has long neglected is the physical training that Landon has put into his prodigious strength. This has proven the difference maker in nearly every game to date.

Beware the skills of this wardancer should you choose to face him down. Lion warrior or bull centaur, ogre or gutter runner -- no ball carrier is safe from his wrath in the heat of battle.

The elder of the two Ta'sa brothers, Castor is indisputably loyal to his younger sibling. The two came to the Shamrocks after falling upon difficult times. They had inherited a smithy from their father, legendary forger of Elven chainmail Bartholemew Ta'sa. Though the brothers worked hard at living up to their father's legacy, their work was not of the same quality. They were forced to give up forging armor and instead embarked on a new journey -- forging a new life in the stadiums of Blood Bowl.

On the pitch, both have proven themselves quite capable, with Castor learning the art of the devastating block just a bit ahead of Pollux. His armored elbows have met with an opponents jaw on more than one occasion, sending them straight to the earth.

Sage Longfellow is a highly capable lineman, though he is markedly dissatisfied with his lot in life. Upon joining the team, his desire was to train and practice with the wardancers. His desire for glory, coupled with his longing to learn to soar above the heads of the opposing team drove him in this pursuit.

Sadly however, it was not to be. Nonetheless, Sage persists in holding to this dream. On most occasions, it is a benign thought in the back of his mind. There have been times when it has been to the detriment of the team -- once even resulting in Sage sitting out an entire match due to a dustup with Landon Stormcrow. Even in the dugout Sage was seen with his head hung low, muttering to himself, "I don't care what they say about him -- I AM THE GREATEST..."

Haldorian Silverleaf comes to the Shamrocks as both a fan and player. Having seen the auspicious beginnings of this group, he has brought his talent and drive to help create one of the most devastating franchises in Blood Bowl.

Whether this goal will be achieved remains to be seen, but for now it is certain that the Shamrocks lineup has grown considerably stronger with his addition.

Menencius Wellspring, head coach of the Shamrocks, found this behemoth of a creature when Blackleaf was a mere sapling. Injured in a fire, it appeared that Blackleaf would not survive the week.

Great care and the nuturing hands of the team's trainers and gardeners brought Blackleaf back from the brink of death. He slowly recovered his strength, gaining it back day by day. The effects of the fire remained, strangely hardening his barkskin into natural blackened armor of incredible toughness.

There is little doubt that his blows are to be feared by the opposition -- his massive limbs have inflicted great pain upon a number of hapless victims.

Harper van Leiden made his first appearance at a Shamrocks tryout a few months back, but he quickly caught the eye of Coach Wellspring. There was a small matter of clearing Harper's criminal record with the local magistrate before he could be permitted to play, but with a wink and a nudge that was all taken care of.

Harper has put the swift feet and nimble fingers of his former profession to work in his newfound career. Opposing teams have found him notoriously difficult to guard and his ability to escape injury has caused many of them to tear their hair in frustration.
