Gams was hired to replace Tater Bellows, unparalleled victor of 39 consecutive eating contests... so far... this year. Tater was the classic example of a well-rounded Halfling. Sadly he was seriously injured in game 3 and retired to a coaching position. Gams is just a bit taller, a bit faster, and not likely to roll so far after taking a solid block.

Previously employed as a launderer's assistant Ervin was mistaken for an actor when he delivered a bag of costumes to Smoreville studios. He has since performed in seven 'B' movies with fascinating roles like "laundry boy", "laundry guy", and "launderer's assistant".

Vill Cakestein, heir to the Cakestein fortune and a longtime family friend of the Smorevilles. He really strutted his stuff in the first game scoring both a touchdown and a casualty.

Gell is a longtime employee of the Smorevilles, and foreman of Appleton Orchards.

A solid little fellow, Barry left his upwardly mobile career as a high iron worker to join the Fling Supreme.

Son of Marsh Smoreville, head coach and financier behind the Fling Supreme, Mallow is likely to be found in the best... and safest... position on the field. Ironically, he was also the first player on the team to be injured in their first game. In the Supremes second game Mallow really showed his stuff, racking up a TD and a Casualty, partly due to the early injury of Vill Cakestein.

Amid controversy, Marsh hired Chock after the Supreme's first game. It remains to be seen if this imported talent will be a significant asset to the team.

Marty Malade is the first of three semi-pro athletes hired to bolster the team's numbers before the round three death match. While he did not personally score any casualties he assisted in an amazing fifteen blocks, earning the judges' unanimous award of MVP.

Van's history competing in the glacial luge and endurance swimming combined event doesn't seem to directly apply to the Bloodbowl field. But he certainly doesn't lack endurance or courage. When asked how he handled being blocked by an opposing treeman, his only comment was, "I screamed."

Last and largest (by half an inch) of the new recruits hired going into game three. Beef proved himself to be a powerful blocker inflicting a casualty on the opposing team. Ironically the opposition scored two points because of that casualty when Beef himself was seriously injured.

Luckily the hearty Beef seems well on his way to recovery and should see play again before the end of this contest.

The greenest player on the team Minty was brought on just in time for the tournament round. If you find his face familiar it's because of his appearances in a long running series of Froctor & Bramble toothpaste commercials.
