Black Jack, the Mighty, relatively intelligent Ogre who founded The Jacks was kicked out from an Ogre League, acused of paying more attention to the ball than smashing his opponents.
He then decided to start his own team, as Coach instead of playing himself. He hired Jacks like himself (he thought) from everywhere he could find them. His thoughts was to create a team so extraordinary that it would attract all kinds of fans from all over the world, earning the team, and of course the Head Coach a place in the history books.
Rumor has it, that Black Jack's long term plan is to earn enough money from The Jack's merchandise and the ticket revenue from the played matches, to finally be able to avenge his removal from the Ogre League, by buying the entire League and kick out every single violent Ogre and start a more peaceful, goblin-filled league.

After The Jacks' first 9 games with only 1 victory and 1 draw, Black Jack finally brought his own playing gear to the field. He's refound the joy of playing and hasn't regretted his return to the Pitch.
In the first game after re-entering the sport of Blood Bowl, Black Jack led The Jacks to their second victory!
Black Jack's second game also ended victorious for The Jacks! The Jacks are now on a non-stop 2-game winning streak since Head Coach Black Jack started playing himself!

Being the last of the Chaos Warriors hired by The Jacks, Jack of Diamonds was eager to earn the respect of his fellow players in his first game. He tried fouling a Goblin to death, failed at this, made every player on the field laugh (even the Goblin with his foot in the groin), got the attention of the referee and got banned for the rest of the game. The Head Coach, Black Jack, later convinced Jack of Diamonds that fouling wasn't his thing. He started lifting weights to regain whatever respect and standing he could. He remained a loner untill the day he challenged Black Jack to an arm-wrestle and won! He's been on the frontline of the Blood Bowl pitch since that day, always testing his strength, and that of his enemies.

Jack of Diamonds is a real Hero of the People! He's won 3 MVP's in only 10 games (Update: 4 in 12 games! (Update: 5 in 14 games!)), and everywhere you look, fans are wearing T-shirts with "Jack of Diamonds - Diamond is forever!" printed on the front.

No one know if it's the name, the number or the combination of the two, but #7 Jack of All Trades sure hasn't had an easy time!
Jack of All Trades III is the third son of the team's medic, Master of None, who's been playing this position for the team. His 2 elder brothers both died on the field, and one of them even got a new life (well, undeath) as a zombie!
Neither of the 3 brothers have ever achieved anything worthy of an SPP. Jack of All Trades and Jack of All Trades II both died as rookies.
Jack of All Trades III has decided (just like the middle brother) that his fate will be greater then those of his succesors.
We'll see what plans Fate has for him...

He finally passed his elder brothers' abilities and scored a TD!

Several games later, he scored again AND won the team's MVP. He has now far surpassed his elder brothers, even gaining a skill (Block) that will hopefully make him last even longer.

After his 10th game, he started living up to his name. He's begun training to be the Team's Kicker, making precision kick-offs for the team. This is truly a skill of all trades, useful for many situations.

After filming Pirates of The Caribbean, Jack Sparrow II (The first died during filming of the first fight scene with Orlando Bloom) spent his entire salary on fast women and booze!
After living on Isla de Muerta for a few months, hangover finally caught up with him, he sobered up and left the island. He was last heard screaming "But why's the rum gone?!" while sailing away into the horizon on board of the Black Pearl.

Feeling down on his luck, Jack Sparrow II, who had no money what so ever, felt forced to look for an honest job.
He didn't find one. Instead he found one of Black Jack's talent scouts (who were looking more for Jack's than for talent), and got signed up. He was payed 50,000 gold pieces and disappeared without a trace. The talent scout, believing he had lost all of Black Jack's money, went into hiding untill he, 2 months later, recieved a thank you letter, and his salary of 500 gold pieces from Black Jack. Jack Sparrow II had turned up to play for the team the date he was supposed to. In the mean time, his salary was completely gone, most likely spent on rum and women.
He now plays for team, being paid only in food and rum. In order to get women, he must play well.
Black Jack sure knows how to motivate his players!

Jack Daniel's is the only player on the team who's birth name is not jack. The problem is that he doesn't remember his real name. He's been dubbed Jack Daniel's due to his love of the dark fluid. His love of the bottle is most likely also the reason he can't remember his own name. Never the less, he's doing fine on the Blood Bowl Pitch, and everyone knows his name.
He has been warned about his drinking though, if it turns out to be a problem, he'll be forced to leave the team.

When his continued drinking, Jack Daniel's has become incresingly violent, especially on the field. He's started kicking players lying down, and he's getting quite good at getting the boot in, without letting the referee see it.
