As opposed to many of his specie one could apply a word such as
reliable to this lumbering hulk. His performance on the field is remarkably
steady as he certainly showed in the Orca Cola Classic 2005 final
against the CD team A Pack of Lips Now where he didn't stand idle a single
turn (unless ordered to that is). Him being on the bench in the dying minutes
probably had an impact on this remarkable feat but who cares?
The recent blessing of Totenheim makes the coach hope that it's a sign
that the team's streak of poor luck (and a few stupid mis-clicks) has come
to an end. Totenheim looks fearsome with his new set of tentackles and
he expresses his anticipation to put them to good use.
His first game with the Tentackles proved to be a smashing success -
tying up elves left and right. On the same time the non-winning streak
finally came to an end and has further backed up the rumours of divine intervention.
Jonatan may not acutally live forever but if things keeps up as they are now
his name may do so. We're looking forward to watch this player in action.
Faust sold his soul in return for power, fame and fortune. His fast feet are
matched by his equallt fast fists that deal out punches left and right.
The management is however waiting for him to add some support to the
team as well as some more fury into his punch. His speed is however
a very valued asset as he has no problem keeping up with the running
game the Crusaders usually adapt.
Nighthowler is a team player. As there is not a lot of those around on the team
his efforts are highly appreciated.
Seeing how it was not always all that hard for some of the sturdier teams
to out-muscle the Crusaders, Limes decided that he'd better start showing
the team how to work as one (a team, that is). The rest of the Crusaders
should soon start to follow his example.
His bestial reage has reach new hights and has added a new tactical
element to the Crusaders defence and offence - proving that noone is
safe from the embrace of the crowd anymore.
Versatile and valuable. That's the two Vs that identify Manbane.
But unfortunately Omgor has to put up with rather mind-numbing incompetence
from his fellow players. It's not rare that he manages to get the ball from an almost
unreachable position only for his so called team "mates" to drop it
- either trying to make a perfectly simple catch or getting powed on a silly
little 1d block from some of those wimpy little elves. If only Omgor could
afford to switch teams - there must be someone out there needing a competent
and talented player such as himself; teams that actually want to win games.
Unfortunately for him there's this whole matter of his contract. Omgor doesn't
really know the details of it - he just knows that it involves something in the
general direction of "eternal torment and damnation", "pain beyond imagination",
"the banishment of player's soul to the boundaries of man's sanity - and that ain't
a pretty place, I tell ya", if he leaves the team, after he had a quick glance
at it yesterday.
Sometimes you really should read those small printed letters - especially
if they take up half of a 300 page contract.
Early in his carreer Jones suddenly seemed to burst with energy - his
speed surpassing that of any of his team mates. Unfortunately his spark
seemed to burn out as quickly as it arised - this wasn't pleasing to the
eyes of the head coach and soon Jones was relegated to simple line
duty.
He is now a grizzled veteran - taking his beating as it comes and with his
head and horns held high. Not much else to do when your soul is the
property of the coach...
