CircularLogic's Dark Elf team was a mighty 15-0 until they met their match against Eight Long Hours. They later won the Ulthuan Invitational.
My favorite quote from CircularLogic? "Play the ball or look like an idiot."

Coached by EcLiPsE, this was probably the most vicious and bloodthirsty team that I have played. At the time of our game they had 4 claws, two razor sharp claws, mighty blow's, multiple block...the works. Honestly, I look back at this match and I don't know what I was thinking. We somehow made it through (with a win, of course!) with no permanent damage, despite the 6 casualties and 8 KO's inflicted. I think I still had 3 on the field at the end of the game, contesting that last TD to the bitter end. Bravado would exceed wisdom quite frequently with the legendary Axiomatic.

Chappy's team was aptly named in this one, as they got the ref on turn one and proceeded to vent their frustration by fouling Axiomatic on every turn (with a professional, of course).
He racked up 5 casualties and numerous KO's while we focused our attention on the ball and took a 3-1 lead. He did courteously stop the fouling once the game was out of reach (turn 14 or so), which I much appreciated as my boys were hurting pretty badly by this time and our apoth was fresh out of bandages.
The irony was that Gorge Berzerkely dished out some old school justice with a RIP on one of their blitzers that was so devastating that thier orcish apothecary could do nothing for it. Good old, Gorge. I miss that guy!

I think everyone knows Kenty's team, and just about everyone has played them. Keeping a team alive for so long is quite a challenge, and keeping a team undead for so long is even more so.
Congrats, Kenty! Axiomatic was proud to beat your team ;-)

There was DropDeadFred crying himself a puddle in the chatroom one day about how no one would ever play his ferocious Orc team. Axiomatic was almost always up for a challenge, so we took him on. Unfortunately DropDeadFred handed us some loaded dice in this one and we rolled up some mighty snakeyes and skulls. Ended in a 1-1 tie. BAH!

Another of those cornerstone FUMBBL fixtures and one of my favorite teams, we played Aequitas's legendary team twice. Axiomatic played them at TR 290 or so in what turned out to be an intense 16 turn struggle and a great game ending 2-1 in our favor. On the other hand, Eight Long Hours put a 5-0 smackdown on these guys in the way that only woodelves can. Rumour has it that this was the game that turned them back to the dark side!
Whenever I get down after a particularly cruel turn of the dice, I think of Aequitas. We struggle on!

Numba1's team of orcs was no match for Axiomatik. We ran circles around them and gave them a solid 3-1 drubbing. Numba1 must have remembered this treatment however, as his other orc team, Orcish gave us such a beating that the team never really recovered. Lost that one 1-3. What goes around comes around, I suppose.
Bah!

Our first game against Hank's motley crew was in the waning days of Axiomatic. We suffered a virus and fielded 6 elves. I don't know how, but we did manage to make it close losing only 1-2. It must have had something to do with Arthur Sharpenedhorner, the best player that I've ever had (and the only +ST player worth mentioning).
We later took our revenge with Eight Long Hours, beating them 2-1 in a very close match.

There we were in irc chatting away merrily when someone types "bbteams tautology."
Smack was talked and Eight Long Hours headed out to settle it on the pitch. A 4-0 beatdown ensued.
