Thomas McMillan, better known as Tommy Mack is the NQNL team captain and rumored to have had a hand in the team being formed. Little more than rumors are available, and Tommy isn't saying anything.

Tommy is, hands down, the fan favorite amongst the Lads. Fans cheer when he takes to the field and get rowdy when he is forced to sit out. Match commentators have been known to refer to a full fielded Lads lineup as "10 players and Tommy Mack" on the field. Despite all the attention and fame garnered, Tommy is still very much a team player. He focuses more on defense and assisting his teammates than grabbing glory. Of course, with his natural charisma, glory comes whether he wants it or not.

One of the honors given to Tommy is the fans considering him one of "The 4 Horsemen", a quartet of Lads players including Cass, Tip, and Hugo. These 4 players tear down the field as a group taking apart defenses to leave a nice clean path for the ball carrier to walk up for a score.

Fan Awards:
Contender for the "Iron Man"(most games played) award for The Lads.
Voted most popular player on the Lads by fans.

The newest Blitzer to join the Lads, Hayes is quiet and soft-spoken, especially when compared to such personalities as Tommy Mack, Tip O'Riley and Mickey Maloney. Despite spending enough time on the pitch to let more players join the team, Roger still gets saddled with the nickname "Newbie." None of this really matters to him. He's part of a team, and it's his job to do his part. He shows and plays, contributing in his own silent way. Critics can say what ever they want, but the ones who know what they're talking about can't deny the impact he has on keeping the team running as a whole.

"Tip's Useless!"

That's the standard response from a Lads fan if asked about blitzer Tip O'Riley. Despite never missing a game, and being second blitzer only to Tommy Mack, Tip gets no real credit for his hard work. No one can really explain why, or what he did to deserve this, but Tip accepts that the fans don't like him, and sticks to working the field.

One of the few honors of Tip's career is the fans considering him one of "The 4 Horsemen", a quartet of Lads players including Tommy, Cass, and Hugo. These 4 players tear down the field as a group taking apart defenses to leave a nice clean path for the ball carrier to walk up for a score.

Younger brother of deceased Lads Blitzer, Ian Maloney, Mickey has inherited his brother's nickname: "Berserker". Like his older brother, Mickey takes on all comers regardless of size, strength or numbers advantages. Early in his career, critics didn't belive he could match some of Ian's achivements. And Mickey refused to match up with Ian, instead choosing to surpass him.

Mickey quickly toned up after hitting the field and became accepted as the hardest hitting blitzer on the team. Additionally, he is personally responsible for more touchdowns in the Fumbbl league than any other Lad. At times, some of the more daring fans begin to whisper if he might fit the role of a "5th Horseman"....

Member of the original Lads line-up...

Youngest member of the team...

Does almost nothing...

Despite starting most games on the front line, it was 9 games before Dane got a casualty. And it was another 5 before his second. He was buddies with the late Lad Patrick O'Grady who was quite popular and skilled. No charisma or talent seems to have rubbed off.

After 16 games on the front line, the Lad has finally picked up a skill. Fans are shocked. After this showing, he was granted the MVP in the next game. Things are looking up for this young Lad.

Current Dane standings:
Games: 20
Cas: 4
MVP: 1
TDs, Completions, Interceptions: Zip, Zilch, Nada, the Big Goose Egg.

Joey Mack is son of Lads captain and star blitzer Tommy Mack. Since his arrival on the team, other players have taken to calling Tommy "the Mack Daddy."

Despite the attention focused on him because of his fathers' fame, Joey insists on playing that much harder to prove himself to the fans and his teammates. He offers to take a spot on the front line and has been comended for his bravery on the field.

Big expections come from all around for this next generation McMillan, and he aims to prove that they all still underestimated him.

The game against the Chaos Dwarf team Crush Crushity Crush left the Lads in shambles. With Patrick O'grady and Ian Maloney dead and Riley Flannagen out with a career ending injury, all looked lost. The Lads ended that game with 4 players on the field, Hugo, Collins, Dane, and Cassidy O'gill. After receiving the MVP for the game, Cass decided that his role was not the safety he had been training for and bulked him self up to take to the line. When needed, he can still take down those dodgy catchers, but now he prefers to roll up the middle of the field and take apart the opponent's front line.

In a recent poll, fans have solidly voted Cass as the second most popular player on the team. The winner was Tommy Mack, but no one was surprised. The second place was contested but Cass came out on top.

One of the greatest honors of O'Gill's career is the fans considering him one of "The 4 Horsemen", a quartet of Lads players including Tommy, Tip, and Hugo. These 4 players tear down the field as a group taking apart defenses to leave a nice clean path for the ball carrier to walk up for a score.

William MacNamera is a guest player for the Lads. He's originally Scottish, and pays for it on the road. All the other Lads tend to make him the butt of their jokes, and he accepts this grudgingly. However, it's all in good fun, because as a kicker, he's greatly helped the team by "bringing some of that Scottish Magic" and putting the ball right where they need it.

William also holds the honor of being the only player outside the 4 horsemen to play in all Lads games thus far.

Hugo's prowess on the field would be legendary if not for one small factor, he's an uncurable drunk. He shows up for games hung over if not still blasted out of his mind. In the middle of key drives, he has a tendancy to forget his role, or get knocked over and pass out for a bit. If it weren't for his strength and how effective he is when he does what he's supposed to, he would've been off the team long ago.

Hugo has shown himself to be consitent and dangerous enough that the fans consider him one of "The 4 Horsemen", a quartet of Lads players including Tommy, Tip, and Cass. These 4 players tear down the field as a group taking apart defenses to leave a nice clean path for the ball carrier to walk up for a score.

The first female Lads player, Darcy showed up at practice one day and insisted on a shot to join the team. Amused at her drive, Tommy agreed. She impressed the team, but there was no spot open. After practice, Catcher Liam O'leary approached Tommy. Darcy was his neice and he wanted a replacement, since an old injury had made him look toward retiring. He and Darcy had concocted the planned arrival to show the team that she could in fact play and was not just being hired on her relationship with Liam. Time will tell if she's as impressive in game as she was on the practice field.

Terry Collins has more drive than many teams. He's the first one on the field at practice time, showing up early every single time. He practices passing, alternating between going for distance and going for accuracy. Once the rest of the Lads show up, Terry practices with the full team. After practice is done, Terry stays on the field and continues to work his throwing arm. Some of the Lads will show up early or stay late to work with him, but rain, snow or shine, Terry's out there every day. His practice has paid off too, since he's completed as many passes as he's played games in. Many throwers crash out from injurys early, but Terry's at 16 games and going strong.
