Guttertown Sludge
It's no secret to Cess Pitts that he's lucky to be a member of the team. After being cut early in training camp, Cess's refusal to leave the lockerroom eventually left the coach no decision but to let him be their backup lineman. Since then, Cess has been doing whatever it takes to prove his worthiness to be a team player. His efforts finally payed off in game 3, when he replaced the injured Loo Rottenly, and eventually earned himself MVP of the game. Since then Cess has made his way into a starting linebacker position. He's a perfect example that you should never let a lack of talent stand in your way.

Quarterback controversy came early for the Guttertown Sludge. Young and talented Bobby Soiler seemed a shoe-in for the starting Thrower position. Showing a promissing strong-arm, he made his way unchallenged through the pre-season. Then, 4 days before the Sludge's 1st game, Micky Stenchford rolled into training camp with a truck-load of cheese and an entourage that would impress Elvis. The next day saw Micky in the starting thrower slot and the Sludge Head Coach, Manfred, with a huge smile on his face. Bobby Soiler, on the other hand, hasn't been seen since.
