Norscan raider who fought a bloody battle against the defenders of a small sea fort on the Northern coast of the Empire. Both sides took heavy casualties, and withdrew exhausted. With little more than a couple of dozen warriors left on each side, the Captain on the Empire troops suggested settling the issue with a game of Blood Bowl. Doomhammer had not heard of the game, but once the basic rules had been explained to him he agreed, impressed by the brutality of the game and the courage shown by the Empire troops.

It was agreed that if the Chaos troops won, they would have the town's gold. If the Empite troops won, the Norscans would leave and never raid the town again.

The game was almost as brutal and bloody as the battle which preceeded it, but in the end it was a draw, the Empire captain scoring the equalising touchdown in the last few seconds of the game.

Doomhammer took half the town's gold, returned to the longships with his remaining troops, and instead of heading home, headed down the Reik in search of another game...
