Bison (Vega in Japan), he killed Dhalsim's elephant with a single Gigaton Punch. One mission had Balrog sent to terminate Birdie. Although he didn't know why, Balrog went anyway. Birdie told him about the Psycho Drive, and Balrog agreed to help him find it, thinking he could make money off of it. When the Psycho Drive exploded, Balrog realized that he hadn't been paid recently.

After the events of Street Fighter II, it is likely that Balrog took Shadoloo's reins of power, and then spectacularly ran the organization into the ground. He lost all of his power and influence, and was reduced to a bum on the streets.

According to his official biography, Zangief was born in the Soviet Union on June 1, 1956. He stands 214 cm tall (a little over 7' 0") and weighs 121 kg. His blood type is A. Vega is from a Spanish noble family, but they lost everything they had. His mother married another nobleman for his money, not his looks. As he grew, Vega learned bullfighting, a tradition in his family. He went to Japan and learned ninjutsu, a style he believed meshed well with his natural grace and agility. Combining bullfighting with ninjutsu, Vega went into the underground cage fighting circuit, and quickly became one of the best. His stepfather murdered his mother because he felt she didn't respect him, and Vega killed him in return. The incident damaged his mind, and he developed a dual personality: honourable nobleman by day, sadistic masked killer by night.

According to her official biography, Chun-Li was born in the People's Republic of China on March 1, 1968. She stands 169 cm (just over 5' 6½"), and her weight is undisclosed. She is a crack shot (ranking 6th in an international shooting contest), and likes fruits and European treats. She hates crime, people with no clarity, and utterly loathes M. Bison.

Guile was born on December 23, 1960 in the United States. He stands 182 cm tall (a little over 5' 11½") and weighs 86 kg, with a blood type of O. His given name is simply Guile.

His fighting style is simply known as the "Special Forces" style, a fighting style comprised of military combat techniques and chi manipulation techniques.

According to his official biography, Dhalsim was born in India on November 22, 1952. He stands 176 cm tall (a little over 5'9") and weighs 48 kg (106 lbs). His blood type is O. He is a skilled ascetic. He likes curry and meditation, and dislikes sweet foods and meat. His fighting style is based on yoga.

Generally a pacifist, Dhalsim fights to raise money for his village. His intense training has given Dhalsim the ability to contort and extend his extremities in ways that are physically impossible. He can also read minds, sense evil, suspend himself in midair, and travel bodily through the astral plane in a form of teleportation.

The skulls he wears around his neck are those of village children that died during a plague.

According to his official biography, his date of birth was April 17, with no year or place mentioned. He stood 182 cm (5' 11½") and weighed 96 kg (211 lb). His "special skill" is mind control, he likes world domination, and he hates useless soldiers. His fighting style is "Psycho Power" which allows him to teleport, fly, create multiple forms/images of himself, and engulf his body in indigo colored flames, although early sources claim that it is a ki-enhanced military form of Muay Thai known as Lerdrit. He is based out of Thailand.
