Lord Rudolph von Riddenheim comes from a lineage of Nobles which custom is to send their youngest son to the Blood Bowl Football Academy of Middenheim (BBFAM). There they learn how to lead, discipline and cause some serious damage -all important skills for a future war general.

Despite being of Noble breed, Lord Rudolph is a friendly and humble person that always give 110% effort off- and on the pitch for his team.

This young Lord was given a professional contract at the age of 18, and has played for the Marvels the last couple of years.

Winter van dem Kemp is from the small barony of Reikland. He started of his career with the famous Reikland Reavers, but had to warm the bench most of the time despite his excellent skills. The main reason is the amount of super stars that daily pull on the Reavers shirt, like Griff Oberwald.

Head Coach Rocker Zonderburgh approached Winter van dem Kemp to add some experience to his young team -and assigned him as team captain as soon as the contract was signed. Winter van dem Kemp controls the Marvels defensive play, and is the glue that keeps their lines together.

He is not among the players that draw much attention to him, but will always be there at the crucial moments to save the day.

Mathieu St. Clair is the son of High Priest Mathieus St. Clair of Middenheim. He was brought up with strong religious believes and discipline -but always seemed to be a wild, violent child.

In his youth, he got himself into numerous bar fights and had plenty trouble with the local police force.

A law enforcer/judge penalized him in the end, forcing him to sign up for the Marvels to get out his aggression in Blood Bowl. Now, Mathieu is a vicious brawler on the pitch, a trouble maker and a hard-hitting Blitzer. His passion for violence is out of control on the field, but he has stopped making trouble in the local bars.

Zara Zonderburgh is the first female to ever enter professional football for the Marvels. She arrived at Middenheim as a conquered Amazon Princess and was supposed to be sold as a slave to the local brothels.

The Marvels head coach, Rocker Zonderburgh was struck by her beauty and out bid everyone to secure her services. He quickly realised that this woman would never bow to any man, and the wild idea of bringing her to the training field came to his mind.

Never before has he seen Blood Bowl players cry, but so happened when she was fielded in the training match vs. the amateurs Middenheim Horrors.... causing more CAS in one match than ever recorded in the Marvels history.

She is now a vital part of the team and enjoys the respect of her fellow players, and the admiration of the fans.

Maverick 'Ace' McGordon is the hottest guy in town. His grandparents moved to the Empire and Middenheim from Albion when they where young -looking for a new start, both being wanted criminals back there.

His father was an all-star national playmaker for the Empire, and introduced Blood Bowl to Maverick at the same time he opened his eyes.

'Ace' McGordon is a dazzling risk taking player, bold and confident. He has been brought up to the pro squad from Middenheim's Youth Academy (BBFAM). A flamboyant Quarterback that has been given full creative freedom by head coach Rocker Zonderburgh.

Trevor O'Neill is already a walking legend in Albion, being the first alive player to reach their hall of fame. This quarter back has such a strong arm that he makes even a long bomb look like a quick pass.......

After joining up with the Marvels he's passing skills have just continued to improve, and the fans always count on him to make those spectacular life saving long bombs at the most critical moments.

Lukas 'Fox' Jefferson is a cunning player, with exceptional off the ball skills. His flair is remarkable and Lukas seems to always find himself in a scoring position, to much joy for his fellow quarterbacks (throwers).

The Fox has been playing Blood Bowl for numerous school- and amateur clubs before he joined the Marvels. Being ranked as the no.1 college draft three seasons ago, after finishing an all time high TD record that season, Marvels head coach Rocker Z was very pleased when Jefferson finally decided to turn pro.

The fans always expect a TD when he gets the ball, that’s how spoiled he has made them during his first couple of weeks at the Marvels.

Marco Matsson is born and raised in Middenheim, but of mix breed. His father is Norse from the far away city of Asgard while his mother is from Tilea. Rumours say they met when his father raided the village of his mother, and together they moved to Middenheim for a quiet life.

Marco has always been agile, fast and a natural goal getter for any serious Blood Bowl team. This promising youth holds the 60m-, 100m-, 200m- and 400m running/sprint club records. He started of as a regional sprint champion when head coach Rocker Zonderburgh spotted him.

Just moments after signing up with the Marvels he became the most popular guy on the team, being a local kid and all. This popularity earned him "fans player of the year" award last season.

Isaac Carston is actually still just a junior player, but his natural abilities as a catcher has earned him a space in the Marvels squad. There are high hopes attached to this youngster, and with the right nurturing he might become the greatest catcher ever seen on a human team.

The fans are thrilled by the fact that head coach Rocker Z let young players get first team experience at such an early stage at the career, knowing it will most likely make them future super-stars........ if they survive that is ;)

Jonathan Jackson is the brother of the more famous Mikkel Jackson -a local entertainer in Middenheim. This is the first black man to ever master the skills of Blood Bowl here at Middenheim Marvels, and the achievement have made him a King in the little known country Muzambanda.

Jackson, aka BlackJack, is also the teams dish washer, cleaner, handyman, plummer, carpenter, waterboy, shoe polisher, uniform/kit responsible, field gardener and half time entertainer.

This tall industrial man is from Bretonnia. He came to the Marvels on his own initiative together with his agent to trial for them. After more than a month of hard work at the training field, head coach Rocker Zorenburgh decided to sign him on free transfer.

His loyalty is admirable and Pierre Roche always put the team above himself. Any team need players with an attitude like that and Roche normally do all the dirty work to give space for Marvels key players.

Off pitch, Pierre is an excellent chef and seems to be a natural centre of attention while travelling -mainly due to all the fancy cooking he does.

Vincent di Sartosa used to be a sailor on one of Sartosa's many pirate ships until his parrot died while docking at a harbor close to Middenheim. Determined to give his loved parrot the best possible funeral, he went to Middenheim to raise money.

Due to his excellent physical condition he managed to save the daughter of Middenheim chairman Princeton Richass from muggers, and Mr. Richass got so impressed that he offered him a lifetime contract with his club, the Marvels.

Now Vincent is the funny team clown, always with a sharp comment or good story keeping the locker room spirit high.

'Loco' Loveless used to be one of the local Blacksmiths in Middenheim -not a good one, but still forcing enough customers into his shop to make it a living. Some months ago, his blacksmith and workshop burned down by yet another of his numerous mistakes. 'Loco' have always been a bit bone headed, and the locals used to make fun of him without him realizing it.

Head Coach Rocker Z found him sitting in the middle of the ruins of his stores, and persuaded him to join up with the Marvels to earn his living. Neither of them regret that decision, 'Loco' adding some badly needed strength to his team... and the big guy himself, doesn't get picked on anymore.

Maybe if the Marvels are lucky, 'Loco' might even learn the rules one day!
