If you ever hear anyone say that Rugby League is a beautiful game, just drop the name "John Hopoate". Also known as the man with the dissapearing finger, he's the least pleasant footy opponent imaginable.

"Yield" is a very very stupid game played exclusively by very very stupid young men. The game is simple: the two opponents take 10 paces away from the centre, then take a shot with a ball at their opponent..who is not allowed to flinch from the shot in any way. The opponent then avenges himself with his shot. The players then step one step closer. The loser is the first to flinch or say "Yield".

A "Coat Hanger" is a tackle made by slamming a straight and level forearm across your man's neck (kind've in the middle of where his coat hanger might go). Such a tackle is violent and extremely unsporting.

A player running the ball who batters a would-be tackler off with a straight (usually palmed, but Orcs are more inventive) jab to the face has just performed a "Don't Argue".

A "Maori Sidestep" is a brute-force tackle evasion technique. Where a smaller and more agile ball runner might attempt a shimmy or similar bit of fancy footwork to wrong-foot their tackler, a Maori Sidestepper simply goes faster and straighter...battering their tackler into the ground on the way through.

"Pile Driving" is just another word for spear tackling.
