Ted Swalk started off with the Byzantine Razorwings as a thrower but after a couple of games proved to be the strongest member of the team. As a result he ended up running with the ball more often than he threw it, and pretty quickly his speed improved to match his strength. Things went wrong in a game against New Baby Dollz as the Amazons surged forward and smashed unlucky Ted down. The apothacary managed to save his life but later in the same game he was taken down again after bravely deciding to play on, this time he picked up an unfortunate hand injury - quite a disadvantage for a thrower.
