Black Temple Guard
Prologue: Selcott was the original leader of the group and also the most dedicated to Pitran. He was the main recruiter of the group and also was the most immoral and depraved. Although he wasn't directly involved in the "incidents" (for he was at the temple praying), he approved of the events and was the one blamed by Malekith for them. Despite his efforts to keep the temple based in Naggarond, he failed and the team was forced on the road. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Desperately trying to arrange a game, he found a group of Halflings to play. He assumed the role of captain and led them into battle (or the game, whichever fits). In that first game, he badly hurt a fling and also completed a pass to Jadminth who scored later that drive. He was successful in that game and called all the right plays. After the game, he dedicated his performance to Pitran to win the diety's favor. But Pitran didn't respond, for in the next game, Selcott wasn't very pivotal at all. He did manage to do some menial tasks, but nothing flashy. It was the same in the next game, but this time at a price. His hand was smashed earlier and, the apothecary who hadn't been there when Quintas' hand was smashed, managed to save him. The next game was similar in terms of pain suffered and effectiveness. Although he stayed on the pitch the entire game (only one of three who could say they had done such a feat) he was knocked down countless times and was very lucky his armor didn't break.
Prologue: Kimithan was a fiery hot-head who wanted to cause as much trouble as possible. He was the main instigater of the "incidents". He was rash and fully dedicated to Pitran by causing chaos and confusion in the name of nothing. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Despite his failures in the team's first game (his pass was intercepted) he remained resolved to cause as much trouble for opposing teams as possible. In order to reassure himself that he could make a succesful pass, on the last turn of the next game, he passed to Derigias who was right next to him. This pleased both Kimithan and Pitran. But not enough, as he was badly hurt on the second turn of the following game.
Prologue: Farthion truly believed that the universe would be perfect if nothing existed. He was completely dedicated to Pitran, even if it meant taking his own life. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Before the first match, he prayed to Pitran that he would do well. He did do well, for he badly hurt the Halfling that was causing the team the most trouble. This was the team's first casualty. The next game, he knocked out a linelf on a key play, but was in turn stunned himself on a key play. He had forgotten to pray to Pitran before that game. He had forgotten to pray the next as well for he was crowd pushed and then badly hurt. After that, he had his arm fractured at the beggining of the second half of the next game. Coach Oblitzamanger decided not to use the apothecary since Farthion would recover after the next match. The coach was right in doing so since the apothecary later saved the life of Haplin. So Farthion had to suffer the injury for the next game. He had finally learned that he needed to pray before each match.
Prologue: Haplin was a large part of the "incidents" in the city. He liked to cause trouble because of his religious beliefs. He was upset about being forced out of Naggaroth, but he didn't mind because it meant that he would get to play Blood Bowl. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: In his first game, he damaged the back of a Halfling and then passed the ball to Onchi Udred who scored later that drive. He was proud of his first performance in a Blood Bowl game. He had much to be proud of in the next as he broke from the cage, recieved the ball, and dodged to score the team's only touchdown in the game. He learned how to block better as a result. Although he was badly hurt in the second half of the next game, and didn't do much up until then anyway. But Haplin was very active in his next game. He knocked out a Zombie on an important blitz, clearing the path for Airtris to score, and did so again two turns later, which was essential to the score. In the second half, he managed to delay a touchdown by a considerable amount by 'punting" the ball downfield and out of immediate reach of the opposing team. But he was then killed by a mummy, but saved by the apothecary. It had appeared that Pitran had spared his life for the brave acts he had commited on the field.
Prologue: Ramquine was the only one who had a family lineage decending from the order of the Black Temple. He was proud to continue the family tradition and was stoutly loyal to Pitran. He remained loyal to the sect even after they were exiled from Naggaroth. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Since his family honor (or dishonor, whatever fits) was at stake, he fought bravely for the Black Temple in the name of Pitran. In the dying minutes of the first match, he blitzed a Halfling to prevent a Throw Team-Mate touchdown. They knocked each other to the ground, but with fatal results for the Halfling. This was the first death truly inflicted by the team. he got the game's MVP award for his performance and became a little bit faster as a result. But he failed in his next game. he tried to blitz the ballcarrier after dodging, but failed his go for it twice, letting the other team score. He was very saddened by his performance and refused to talk until he did well in another game. He scored a touchdown in the next game after Kimithan threw the ball to him. The opposing team left him unmarked, so he was able to score with ease. Therefore, he allowed himself to talk again. However, he was badly hurt in the first half of the next game, and thus, ever so fickle, dicided not to talk again. The trend spread to the rest of the team, and no one talked until their next match.
Prologue: He helped cause the "incident" and was the first in on the action when it started. He claimed it was in the name of nothing, but despite that, he helped cause the Guard to be exiled. He didn't feel guilty however, for it was in the name of Pitran. He was a member of the original team.
Chapte One: Airtris was knocked out by a Treeman on the first turn of his first game. He didn't wake up until the match was over when he, having learned of the final result, celebrated and thanked Pitran for being able to sacrifice his body for the betterment of the team. But the next game, he more than made up for his blunder. He badly hurt a High Linelf on a key play, and survived four double dice blocks without falling down on the same turn! This exceptional performance garnered him the MVP. He was able to learn how to guard his teammates better, the team's first doubles skill. At that time, he was a hero to the team and it's fans. But he did little to prevent the team's defeat in the third game. His next game was a better success. He picked up the ball near the line of scrimage with a mummy pressing down his back. He managed to dodge the mummy and run upfield in a pathetic cage, then dodge again to score. It was the team's only touchdown in the game.
Prologue: He happily (or grimly, whatever fits) guarded the Black Temple of Pitran and wanted the chance to be able to guard it again back in Naggarond. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: In the first game, while two Halflings tried to dodge from his tackle zone, one was killed and another was badly hurt. Derigias has definately learned how to trip up opponents, a skill he thought was useful for getting back to Naggarond. But he was of no use in the second match when he was knocked out unitl the second half and was then again stunned on an important play. His knack for getting injured was exploited again as on the first turn of his third game, he was badly hurt and again on the fourth turn of his fourth game.
Prologue: Onchi was a relatively new recruit by Selcott when the bunch had been kicked out of Naggaroth. He didn't really know what the Temple was like and was still learning about the order when they formed a Blood Bowl team. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Onchi, in the first game, survived a few fouls, and later dodged to score a touchdown, securing the team's lead on the sixth turn of the second half. He was starting to learn about the ways of Pitran through Blood Bowl. He only managed to knock out a linelf in the next game. The failures kept on coming as he was knocked out by a crowdpush the first turn of his next game, then later fractured his leg while trying to dodge into a good scoring position. He would have to miss the next match, and his leg would always bother him ever since. Nonetheless, he earned the game's MVP award and learned how to block better. He vowed that when he returned, he would cause some carnage in the name of Pitran. But he was still confused about Pitran's ways after the match. He had to sit and watch as his fellow team-mates were thrashed in the next game. It was obvious to him that Pitran was at work, but the team was at a loss of why as well.
Prologue: He was a hard core member of the sect and is so committed to Pitran, he would instantly sacrifice himself for the diety's sake. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: With the inspiration of Pitran in him, he played well by taking down a Treeman, knocking out two Haflings, and scoring after recieving a pass from Selcott in the second half. But Pitran is fickle, and although he rewards his servants, he sometimes looks away. The next turn, Jadminth was badly hurt by a Hafling and had to sit the rest of the game out. Yet he took the pain in the name of Pitran and kept on fighting. However, Pitran rewarded him in the next match. The team formed a cage around Jadminth and they drove strait up the center of the field. Jadminth then passed to Haplin who scored on the next turn. this success rolled over into the next game where he managed to badly hurt a Norse Lineman. He learned how to block better after the game in order to cause more pain. But he suffered instead of others, as he was stunned on his first block of the next game and was repeatedly knocked down after that, eventually landing him the the KOed box.
Prologue: Cargon was the most unhappy with having to leave Naggaroth. His whole life was there and he was upset about losing it. Yet, his loyalty to the Temple was stronger than his loyalty to the city, his king, or his people, and thus, he left willingly. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Cargon didn't have a good performance in his first match. He only managed to stun one Halfling and was knocked down twice by Treemen, once stunned. The next game was not good either. He didn't help the team at all and earned no Star Player Points. He had second thoughts about returning to Naggarond, but Pitran came to him in a dream and told him things would get better. So Cargon stayed for the next match. And he did make a completion, but it was after the game was decided on turn 16. He was also badly hurt on turn 7 of the following game. Still feeling glum, he looked to Pitran for inspiration.
Prologue: Quintas was another one of the "thugs" involved in the "incidents". He was proud of his role and was only a little dismayed by being exiled. It only meant to him that he would have to cause trouble somewhere else. He was a member of the original team.
Chapter One: Quintas sacrificed his body in the name of Pitran in his first moments of service. As the team's first casualty against, a Treeman threw a smashing punch at his face, and Quintas, not thinking clearly, flinched and raised his hand to protect his face. But it didn't matter. The blow blew him back and his hand lay on the ground in a mangled mess. He had to miss the rest of the match, the next match against High Elves (which frustrated him since he wanted to be in on the smashing), and the hand would hurt him ever since. He didn't have a triumphant return either, as he was badly hurt in the second half of his next game, and was relatively ineffective the next one after that. The frustration from the fans showed as one managed to knock him out with a rock.
Prologue: He heard of the order of Pitran leaving Naggarond and forming a Blood Bowl team. When they won their first game against some halflings, he just had to go and check them out.
Chapter One: He followed the team as a faithful fan and during the team's third game, he got out of control and threw a rock at a Norse Catcher, badly hurting him! This service for the team rewarded him a spot on the roster when coach Oblitzamanger was looking for a Blitzer. Although he was a good thrower, he was an even better blitzer in the coach's opinion, and he was rostered after the team's third game. He did well in his opening match as he made a completion after the game was decided and earned the MVP, allowing him to learn how to strip the ball of other rushers.
