Madulf was discovered by his coach, working with other friends, protecting the village of Umberlee in the Umar hills. He immediately accepted the position of Big Guy in the Amn team. The only other thing that's known of this Ogre is that he led the deserters away from a large rebel army far to the South.

Once the son of a Nobleman, Anomen was disowned by his father for refusing to take the law into his own hands by exacting revenge on a merchant, after the death of Anomen's sister, Moira. Anomen is a member of the Order of the Radiant Heart, an Order of Knights whose goal is to further law, justice and general goodness. After being seen using his own body as a weapon in a fight against a group of Orc bandits, Anomen was offered a place in the Amn Bloodbowl team. He readily accepted, seeing it as an opportunity to cause hurt to evil creatures of all shapes and sizes.

All that is known of Yoshimo's past is that he saught his fortune and glory in the city of Amn as a thief. Yoshimo was spotted as a possible catcher when he was discovered to have pickpocketed his current coach. Whilst running away at great speed, he heard the twang of a city guardsman's Long Bow, only to turn around and snatch the arrow clean out of the air.
