Del'arai Imperials
Race: Common Elven
Was formerly in training as a blitzer for a Pro Elven team, but was unwilling to wear the goofy mask and thus turned to the Imperials as a second choice.

Race: Dark Elf
Incredibly fast for a Dark Elf, she refused to wear the heavy armor provided by most Dark Elven teams and thus came upon the Imperials as her first choice.
Race: Mixed Elven
This elf's strange skin tone and violent disposition has led her to be all but entirely ostracized from Elven society. After being proven an accomplice (but suspiciously enough, never the primary assailant) to several violent crimes, she was imprisoned in the Del'arai capital.
Allowed to play via a work-release program.
Race: Common Elven
An extremely violent and dangerous criminal, Andar is known to smuggle weaponry onto the pitch. While much of the team looks down on his actions, the ownership generally enjoys that his terrible nature has been bent to further their goals.
5/14/06: Andar smuggles a butcher's cleaver onto the pitch, apparently for the purpose of hacking and mangling the Norseman Gual beyond repair. He was immediately caught and ejected despite the coach's claims that it was "unintentional".
5/18/06: Following up a blitz from Grand Legionnaire Ethigis Thrann, Andar drives up the center of the field, draws a rather large mallet, and splatters the brains of werewolf M.J. Fox all over the field. Later seen wearing a rather fanciful fur hat.
5/19/06: Playing deep safety, Andar is playing man coverage when he is assailed by a frenzied werewolf. Andar annihilates the lycan and has a new set of fur boots to show for it! Andar is awarded MVP, and Archmage Lexine Sidonia orders his pay be increased.
6/8/06: Jammed a stiletto through the ribcage of ViperdI. Ouch! The coach, Grand-Dominus Dante Del'arai managed to convince the ref that the elf was carrying the weapon. Andar went on to cripple Soicheesedl and clobber Duck later in the game. Fine work, Andar.
Race: Common Elven
A mercenary, Cilamire joined the team after having run short of other work. This is safer, however, and much to her surprise it actually pays better as well.

Race: High Elf
Following Grand Legionnaire Theril's release from contract (a controversy supposedly rooted in the team's strict anti-drug policy), House Del'arai felt a gap had been left in the team after observing the unit's disappointing 1-1 performance against a squadron of Chaos Warriors. They sought volunteers among the High Elves to assist the team, and much to their surprise, one of their own royal lineage spoke up.
She is exceptionally snobby and unpopular as the team's de-facto leader, but being their most capable blitzer, her on-field abilities are invaluable to the Imperials.
Race: Wood Elven
A convicted witch and rogue sorceress, freed on grounds that she must play for the Imperials.

Race: Wood Elf
A typical wood elf, Cetirana stands out on the team mostly through her swift footspeed, quick hands and her lighter armor. No one's sure how such a cheerful person came to be hired onto the team of such a violent sport.
Race: Dark Elf
Vanya Terilcar was a criminal so despised that even despite joining the team, she has not been granted freedom. Once a rogue sorceress, she was accused of and brought to justice for conspiracy and high treason to the Del'arai. She was found guilty and sentenced to death, but rather uniquely, death on the bloodbowl field rather than by blade's end. Despite being promised a pardon should she slay ten times the number of the team's enemies as High Elven nobles she'd conspired to murder, she plans more simply to make her escape following one of their games.
Race: Wood Elf
Another potential wardancer, Suvare Talan was cut from the starting lineup of his former bloodbowl team when he was implicated in the theft of several pairs of boxers and jock straps from the other wardancers' lockers.
What purpose these garments would later serve him is currently unknown, but since his arrival, a close eye has been kept on masculine underwear throughout the Imperials' training compound.
