A natural born leader, Magpies captain Nathan 'Bucks' Buckley was always going to be a star.

Born of a Middenheim father and a Reikland mother, Bucks spent much of his early life in Altdorf where he played 'Junior Bowl', or Blood Bowl for kids. His talent was evident early, and it was always supposed that, when he came of age, he would be a star for a team out of Altdorf.

Bucks caused quite a stir, however, when he turned down a large monetary offer to play for the Altdorf Crows, instead stating his intention to play in Middenheim. The Ulric-worshippers jumped at the chance and formed a team specifically for the purpose, gathering the best and brightes young players from the area to support the new captain.

So far, he has not disappointed, with two MVPs so far.

The strongest player on the Magpies team, Licka is also one of the hardest working. Not only does he fetch the ball, but he often assists in blocks or even makes the blocks himself.

The combination of Licka passing to Neon is one of the Magpies most frequent plays.
