For 25 matches the stable and disciplined Jack "Safeguard" Stiller lead his men with flexibility, hard work and ice cool confidence. He was the ideal team player, often taking a hit for the team and always ready to be counted on. But in the match against Willard's Crew Safeguard suffered a completly personality change. He was badly mauled by the vicious star player <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=3829438">Basher</a>. The apothecary saved his life with much struggle, but it seems that he was infected by a strong form of rabies. Now Safeguard has turned into a hyper aggressive berserker. A fine asset on the pitch, but no longer leader material.

Safeguard's careless playing style combined with his age has made him more fragile than he used to be. His body just can't take as much punishment as it used to and many suspect that the former team captain won't last on the pitch for much longer.

John "Sandman" Sanders replaced Christopher Pierce, but does not share the humble character of his predecessor. Self named Sandman because he "puts the opponents to sleep" this blitzer has declared that he will be a crowd favourite in the near future.

Bill "Brawler" Baskins was cut out for the job as a blitzer. He went straight from serving jail time for numerous bar fights to a prime position in Masthugget Marauders.

Despite his nickname Brawler has developed more into a fast paced agile blitzer than one relying on strength and after performing well he was honored with the position of team captain after Jack "Safeguard" Stiller lost his mind.

Although he has sworn on the life of his mother and everyone else he holds sacred no other player in the team believes that Steve Blitz signed the contract with his real name. The eye patch he earned after getting his left eye gouged out in his debut match adds even more to his tough guy image.

Blitz wasn't performing well in his first matches and got critique for it, but has since grown into a well developed blitzer. Always steady on his feet he often manages to run past the opponents defense.

Wolfgang "Precision" Munch joined the Marauders after their great rebuild. The German thrower is very professional and many of his teammates find him a bit too stale and strict. He got his nickname from a joke regarding German precision after his rigorous training routines. Munch is currenty back-up to the thrower "Sniper" Tafarell.

Although his reinforced visor hides it on the field, Philip "The Face" Sparrow is a truly beautiful young man. Born from noble blood his family was shocked when the dashing young rascal decided to join the Midnight Marauders.

The blue blood is often teased by the other team members, both for his background and his vanity, but is one of the star players of the team thanks to his phenomenal speed despite being strong and tough. Sparrow has dropped plenty of classic lines like "Oh, please god! Not the face! Not the face!" when piled upon in practice, earning him his nickname.

Sadly the very promising talent suffered a crippling injury in the final of Albion Regional Challenge 06/08, when the khemri ganged up on him and smashed his knee when he was on the ground. At least they didn't hurt his face...

<b>Matches missed due to niggling injuries:</b>

Thomas Lang was the target of many insults and shoves in his time before Midnight Marauders made it to the Academy league, and was given the name "Fudge up" from the blitzer "Brawler".
Lang toughened up fast though, and after 3 caualties in the first 2 games some of the teammates have started calling him "Fudge 'em up" Lang instead.

Lang is growing into an experienced player and after almost thirty matches with the Marauders it stood clear that the lineman had developed his ball handling skills. The former scapegoat now puts many of his teammates to shame when it comes to handling the ball and it's safe to assume he won't be subjected to any LOS duty.

Thomas Lang would personally like to thanks the sad little person that reported him to the administrators. You will be gangfouled upon discovery.

Mike "Twitches" Nelson has fulfilled the doubts the rest of the team had about him and is the weakest link in the LOS chain. He is often the laughing stock of his teammates, like when he was very close to scoring vs SuperCompis, but the ref blew the time out whistle just seconds before he would have run over the end zone line.

Twitches seems to be jinxed and no matter what he does he ends up making a fool of himself. In the match against Willard's Crew he was kindly handled the ball by a teammate and allowed to score. Proud with feeling important for a change he didn't keep his focus on the game and in the final minutes of the match one of the opponents smashed his knee so badly that he will never fully recover.

<b>Matches missed due to niggling injuries:</b>

Nick Carver is one of those guys who aim for the stars despite lacking any natural talent. He earned the nickname "Ambition" after his constant rambles about becoming the best Blood Bowl player ever. Ambition has trained hard though and can easily serve as a blitzer if one of the ordinary ones get injured.

Leo "Cash" Cedrics doesn't have any real love for the game. The rough linesman joined because of the money, and would probably suit better as a freebooter.
Sporting his "Fuck you, pay me!" T-shirt as often as he can "Cash" has made it clear to his teammates that he won't risk sacrificing his life for his teammates unless there is a considerable bonus for it. He has trained hard to become a skilled kicker, since he believes that will allow him to reside in the safe zone behind the LOS.

Samuel "Sniper" Tafarell has taken the spot as main thrower since Hawkeye retired. Sniper is skilled at what he does and is tough enough to withstand a tackle without dropping the ball.

Leonard DeBracey was purchased after the great rejuvenation project, when the team had produced a great amount of talented linemen. DeBracey was brought in to more or less take punishment to save his more talented team members, earning him the nickname "Decoy".

Jonathan "Gloves" Sage was bought in after an extensive losing streak for the Marauders and the team pitted their last hope in getting a fresh start with some quick legs in the team. Gloves has grown into a fine player, being stronger than most runners and bearing the marks of a promising scorer.

Randall "Rush" Winston is a very quick and agile runner that joined the Marauders primarily as a reserve. He has developed nicely during his matches so far and might be a future star.

Duncan Gaffrey is a huge beast of a man, and as violent and mean tempered as he looks. The Irish born brute was purchased to give the LOS players some added strength.
