Hendrick the Bloody Axe was at one time one of the most feared competitors on the Blood Bowl field. In 2296 he set a leauge record for casualties with 22 in a single tournament as he helped lead the Wanderers to the Chaos Cup championship. Alas, the Wanderers failed in their quest to acquire this great artifact, and shortly after the team then captained by an ailing Lord Borak parted ways and took to raising their own warbands and wreaking havoc in the southlands of the Empire.

Lord Borak however, now retired, has decided to start the team up again acting as General Manager for a mysterious owner who remains nameless (seriously...you don't want to know it's name). He contacted Hendrick to act as the new team captain and signed some other old but familiar faces to return once again to play at the Glacier of Doom.

Hendrick, is still is fit as ever, though he has been out of practice, many experts predict it won't take him long to get back into his old form.
