Nate Tallfellow was using Deep Root as a practice post for his over weight team to run around. After a player accidently hit the Tree with a ball it became apparent that this was no ordinary tree.
A thoughtfull creature Deep Root is facinated with the game of Bloodbowl. He likes nothing more than helping his little new found friends.

Davy Meatgrinder earnt the nickname "Skyhigh" when it became very apparant that he was the tallest child in the village. Strangely at age 4 he was the tallest person in the village.
The truth about Davy being that his father, a halfling adventurer called Rubis Meatgrinder, found the young ogre child abandoned and took him in as his own.
As Davy reached adolesance it became clear that he was taller and stronger than the normal halfling, his own appetite could put most villages to shame !
When Nate Tallfellow came promoting his new blood bowl team the "Merry Little Pie Eaters" Davy was first to sign up knowing his strength and size would assist the Pie Eaters substantially !
