Willi Ranger was born into one of the richest families of Altdorf. However, the young boy developed a taste for athletics at an early age, and spent most of his teens pursuing the dream of a Bloodbowl-career (to his parents grief, who wanted him to go to fancy private schools). The young boys dream finally came true, when a talent scout from the Altdorf Eagles saw him beat up a kid half his size, and the outrun all of his angry friends.

Ranger currently holds the Eagles team record at short distance-sprinting. Evidently, his nickname "Flash" partly derives from this and partly from how fast his vanishes whenever someone wants to beat his arrogant face in... which occurs pretty often.
